I bought everything for my little bub here!!! Prices here don't differ much from other big baby stores, but the range and choice in Baby Bunting outweighs all others in Melbourne! The staff are always happy to help and even if its busy (which it usually is on the weekend!) they take the time to acknowledge you and then help when they can. I think its really good that for a store that big they actually staff it appropriately. Staff have always showed me lots of options for different products, which they are always knowledgeable about.

This is a big store and it can be a bit difficult to locate the exact product you are after. Finding staff can be hard, but once I found one, they were able to answer all my questions on a particular carseat. The prices are high, the same products are available other places for less. I did not buy the above mentioned carseat from baby bunting. However, if you cannot find a product or accessory anywhere else, chances are good baby bunting might have it. This store is never my first stop when I need something for my young kids, now, or when they were babies.

I have been here a few times and always found it very difficult to find staff to assist. One girl didn't have a clue about the products and the other older woman was so grumpy. I bought a stroller which broke while under warranty and the man in the warehouse was helpful and provided a new one within a week. They have a pretty large range of products ( I was unable to buy a bedrail at a reasonable price mind you) and there is a good playarea for kids while you look around. Prices are average to above, I wouldn't expect to find a real bargain here.

I can also agree the customer service is pretty average. A couple of great staff but overall pretty average. They do have a great range. I would same their prices are average. We purchased all our baby stuff there and has to fight VERY hard to get a good discount on $3000, but we did get it, therefore the prices were pretty good after this.
I would advise try to go in on a weekday as the weekends are very busy.
We did happen to go into the Narre Warren store while our purchases were still on layby and they had our cot for $80 less. I mentioned this a few days later when I went into Bentleigh to make a payment and was told quite abruptly I was wrong and that was impossible. I went back into the Narre Warren store the following week with my layby receipt and they took a copy and followed it up with bentleigh on the monday (as it was a busy weekend when i went in) and called me back promtly and had it all sorted for me - funny though that still a few months later Bentleigh still had the cot at the more expensive price.
Overall it was good to go there as we could be everything we needed, I would have a good idea what you want when you go there and whats its worth and just bargain to a good price. They also have great discounts on clothes at the end of season

Approximate cost: $4000

Staff are notoriously elusive. And when you do catch one - they rarely know their products. Busy, doesn't look clean. Range not that great and pricing inflexible. I have twins and have NEVER been offered a discount. They have a discount card, but I had to initially buy over $500 to start.
Stroller purchase I have tried several times. Information given has yet to be honest. Seem to only care about getting a sale, rather than selling the best product to the right customer. Infact on a couple of occasions an older lady was quite gruff and more interested in the current celebrity wandering the store than serving me. And a s a twin mum, I could have bought much! Changed her advice depending on which product she thought would get quickest sale. Would rather drive further and get HONEST QUALITY service and advice.
Seem too big, too arrogant and too ambivalent.

Baby Bunting is a great warehouse style baby store - it seriously has everything you could possibly think of needing! I haven't found their customer service to be as outstanding as some other places (eg a staff member just told me I could get a discount if I joined their club when I asked what I should be looking for in cot). The prices also need room for improvement - I have found exactly the same things at significantly lower prices elsewhere (even when you take into account the 5% discount they give members). You really need to shop around before buying from there.

In terms of range I found baby bunting in Bentleigh East to be one of the best stores that I have visited. The prices are comparable to other stores but it is the range that make them the place that I will be going back to for all my nursery and baby needs.

TIP: if you are a hard negotiator you can get a great price!

A fantastic shopping experience. They employ enough staff to ensure that there is someone there to help you. They are knowledgeable and not paid on commission so you get an honest opinion. High reccommend

Each time I have been I have found the staff more than helpful but not pushy. I needed help/advice with a Baby Bjorn and the staff member spent more than 20 minutes taking me through all the options and showing me how it to fit them properly.

Great store, friendly staff and enough staff that you don't need to wait forever for some help! It is a huge store and has a really wide range of all baby products.
