I was searching for a great gymnastics program. The progam at the YMCA is not a competition based program. It's fun, effective and a great starting point to see if your child enjoys gymnastics. The customer service was friendly and it has a warm atmosphere.

have heard good things about the gym, i myself have not tried but am a huge fan of their pools have been attending since i was a kid doing lessons. staff are friendly place itself is clean and very enjoyable

We had our kids go through this centre for swimming, and found all teachers well-qualified and friendly. There is a problem when you graduate levels, not so much guidance and the Aquagard program is disorganised. Great gym facilities, and gymnastics centre, though again, if you to a high level you go elsewhere. So, a fantastic general ability environment, not specialist environment. In terms of facilities very clean, fantastic choice of swimming pools, you can't go wrong.

Ballarat Aquatic Centre YMCA has great facilities offering gym - personal trainers - a variety of class , yoga ,body pump , cycling, water aerobics has new spa and sauna, lovely new cafe serving light lunchs snacks, coffee and cold drinks.

My partner and I have recently begun using the facilities on a casual basis at the Acquatic centre and have found them fantastic. We tend to go during off-peak times and have not found that there is too much crowding during these times and we are able to work-out in the health club and follow it up with a leisurely swim without waiting around for use of the facilities. Staff are always friendly and membership prices seem to be affordable, we're looking into purchasing memberships in the future.

Great place for a swim, sauna or just to chill out in the spa. Facilities are really nice and clean, and staff keep a good eye on things. Its all really modern and nice, but can get busy at times. Overall though a good place for exercise.

ive been a member for over a year now.. great range of classes and gym equipment, the bike classes are very popular though and you need to get there approx 20-30 mins early in peak times to get in.

The new equipment is great with lots of space and you rarely have to wait to use anything. The staff are really friendly and particularly helpful with programs and health consultations. I recently had an operation and needed my program adapted and not only is the program great, the way it was explained to me was excellent.

I joined the YMCA gym about a year ago. They were undergoing renovations at the time so for a few months it was really cramped. The renovations are finished and now there is plenty of equipment and is a bright and light place to work out. The staff are very friendly and approachable and if you get a full membership you get fitness assessments and program development included. You can then have regular reviews with your fitness instructor or do your own thing. They also have the Fitlinx system installed so if you want all your excercise and progress toward goals can be tracked electronically.

If you work for a large organisation check if they have a corporate deal. You can save a worthwhile amount by just proving who you work for.
