The first time I stepped into this restaurant with a friend of mine I really enjoyed it. It is a smart casual environment and I think it is more suited to the ages between 20 and 40, I think mainly because of it's setting and next to it there is a bar. A variety of great food and at a reasonable price.

This place used to be a lot better, but in recent times it attracts a pretty average crowd and seems more like the place to pick up and get sloshed, than have a good night out and meal with friends.

The menu has good choices, but it's a bit pricey considering this is a restaurant located at a shopping centre. I'd prefer the food court to be honest.

Always packed, the menu has been changed and they cut half the meals off, plus put the prices up.. Ok for a local lunch but not recommended for a nice night out. There isn't a lot of variety and the service is rather slow and average.

We have eaten here a few times before with various experiences. Last night was one of the good ones. We had a tandoori chicken pizza and a new york deli pizza both were delicious and served quickly. Followed by a Mars Bar cake for dessert, this was quite dry and not great. The service was friendly and attentive, nothing was a problem- we needed an highchair everything done with a smile.

I have been here a few times. The food is good but nothing special. I find it to be very noisy. I much prefer the lounge for a few drinks than the restaurant.

The Pizza's are beautiful and sometimes they have a deal for cheap pizza between certain hours. My only bad experience is that every salad I have ordered has bits of grit of dirt in them. I think they musn't wash the lettuce properly.

My family and i love going to the Balsamic Bar in ringwood for lunch or dinner. Excellent food and great friendly service. We go there often and it is great to be treated like a friend. Great wine also.

Have been to Balsamic several times - I always have a good time, have good food, drinks and service. Nice atmosphere even when a bit busy. Reasonable portion sizes for mains - entrees not such good value. It's not cheap and the surcharge on public holidays makes it almost unaffordable. They have a movie ticket deal with main courses which is cool.

Though Balsamic has a great ambiance and awesome views, I find it is a bit expensive for the food that you get. the food is nice but not extraordinary and is not worth how much you pay.

this is a decent restaurant, conveniently located near the cinema so a good place to get a bite to eat before seeing a movie. food is always good value for what you pay for and all are fairly large servings. would recommend the dips, prawn risotta and lamb wrap. good wine list, nice ambience, cozy atmosphere. also an attached bar if you feel like kicking on but dont want to drive anywhere.

Approximate cost: $20
