I absolutely loved Bar Bosh, I went there on a Friday, and they do pre-warn you that on Fridays and Saturdays you may have to wait up to 45 minutes as it can get quite busy. We waited over that but when we received our food, we got complimentary risotto balls. The food was beautiful, the chickpea salad is delicious, I would definitely go back.

Yum, the food here is excellent. The vegetarian omelette for breakfast is divine. The food at night can sometimes take a while to come out as they cook it all fresh but it is well worth the wait. The staff/service and cost are all as per usual but the food is worth going for.

Great little tapas plates. I love the fact that there are so man options here for a small eater - not enough restaurants offer this type of option... Try the arancini - they are amaaazing!

Absolutely love this place. The intimate flickers of the fire place provides for a romantic dining experience by candle-lit tables. tapas menu is good. They also have various specials on each day of the week.

Absolutely love this place. The food is good, the atmosphere delightful and the staff pleasant. I adore the large fire place and the building feels almost closed off from the business of the Knox shopping center pedestrian traffic. We last went for pizza Thursdays which works out very reasonably priced. The cocktails are good too.

We were greeted by a friendly waiter who directed us to a small table to the right of the dining room, which was rather cramped. We decided to start with the old favourite, Trio of Dips served with Pita Bread. My friends decided to go with the Fish of the Day, which was Roasted Salmon on a Vegetable Risotto and I ordered the Moroccan Garlic Prawns sitting neatly on a bed of Saffron Rice. The dips and bread were divine! The prawns were cooked perfectly and left and delicious taste in my mouth. My friends devoured their meals too! The desserts were so damn good! The lemon tart was zingy and delicious.

Having read some previous reviews, I would tend to agree with the reviewers. Bar Bosh is hit and miss. However what I have learnt from my many dining forays to Bar Bosh is that you have to know what food to order. There are foods there that I avoid because they just don't do them well. I have had the Linguine with chicken pieces in a soy sauce. Having eaten it once I found the soy sauce overwhelming. I have also had the fish and chips which were ordinary. Therefore I am basing this review on the things that I know they do well and I have actually learnt to make sure I order them. Love the fattoush salad. I also like the Morrocan style garlic prawns. I would also recommend the field mushroom Turkish pizza. I also like the hot salami pizza. These are the things that I know that they do well so I make sure that I order them.

My partner and I met up with friends here the other night. Our friends smoke so we sat outside. We didn't mind the coldness, but the waiter sat us right near the edge of the covered area where the seats were wet from the rain. When we moved to another table, another waiter came and told us off and rudely said "Next time you want to move you need to tell us". The night was already off to a bad start, but we gave them a second chance.

The menu is limited, and apart from the wedges that we had to share, our meals weren't that great. I ordered the chicken linguine which was swimming in too much soy sauce and the chicken pieces were tiny. From what I gathered from my friend the pizza was ok, but nothing special. When we ordered a second round of drinks, they were forgotten and never arrived. When we asked the waitress where our drinks were she just said "Oh" and walked off. It seemed she had forgotten to put it through and only put it through since we reminded her.

A positive to the night was the Wild berry cheesecake served with whipped cream and/or ice cream.

I probably won't go there again.

Nice but somewhat limited menu. Not much variety if wanting a salad based dish. Good selection of desserts and good quality coffee.

The decor inside is nice, but don't be fooled by this! We ordered some Turkish Pides and were looking forward to it! (A Turkish Pide is made with pizza type of dough which is filled with cheese, meat, salami etc wrapped in the dough resembling a canoe, google search if you're not sure) However, when it arrived, it was nothing more than a sandwich in turkish bread! This is NOT a Turkish Pide at all! It was a cold sandwich with some chicken inside and a bit of salad and too much ham! It was disappointing, as if i wanted a sandwich i would have gone and got a cheaper one and nicer at Fancy Fillings inside the shopping centre! Will not go here again, as the prices are NOT worth the food at all. It cost $50 for a couple of sandwiches which were meant to be tasty Turkish Pides and two soft drinks. Waste of money!

It's unfortunate the rating system does not allow for 0/5 scores, as this was an absolute disgrace. We popped in for a coffee and cake after dinner, and the venue was about 60% full. We were seated and water provided promptly. We had a quick look at the menu, decided what we wanted, closed the menus and waited for the waitress to come and take our orders. The waitress walked past our table at least 6 times, and whilst we tried to make eye contact, we had no luck. About 10 minutes later, I then started to count from 0 to 100 in my head, slowly, and upon reaching 100, we decided to leave. To be honest, I assume the menus are probably still on the table, and they haven't even realised we left.

I've eaten there before, and the food is overpriced, and the service is generally less-than friendly. Have given this place a few chances, but I won't be bothering any time soon, especially considering the plethora of alternatives available in the precinct.

I've usually been happy with the service & food but when we went for lunch I was extremely disappointed. There was a bug in one of the coffees, the other coffee never turned up & my Fattoush salad had a blow fly in it. The wait staff were not sure how to handle the situation but the manager was very apologetic & discounted the meals. The standards have slipped & I wouldn't return there.

Bar Bosh is a good place to go for a casual dinner out. On a Friday night the place can be very busy with a lively, vibrant atmosphere and the service is friendly. The meals are good (love the Lamb Tagine) but it depends on your taste preferences.

The food quality is hit and miss and although it does not seem expensive, the serving sizes are very average so in reality its not good value for money. The menu is a bit boring - Mediterranean but very safe and not exciting at all. Service is average at best and the atmosphere is quite bland although its nice in winter if you can get a table by the open fire place.

I like bar bosh, but some of the food quality is a bit questionable. But it is nicely decorated and has a modern atmosphere. It can get very busy on week ends though. I like there variety of food and they have a good lemon tart.

Though the decor is good, the food wasn't. We ordered 2 tapas, turkish pizza, souvlaki and paella. Everything was a bit too salty for my liking, esp the sausage in the souvlaki. We waited quite long for the food and surprisingly, they brought all dishes out, but aren't tapas entrees? The sticky date pudding was like a normal cake with jelly like butterscotch sauce. I didn't care much for the coffee either. I definitely wouldn't go back.

We ate here once before seeing a movie and regretted it. We ordered a Turkish Pizza with field mushrooms and spinach minus the cheese, as we are vegan and that was all they could recommend to us, like it was an inconvenience.
A long wait later, the pizzas came out and were ridiculously small for the cost of $19.90 per pizza! We were charged the full price even though the cheese was omitted. The spinach and mushrooms were very scant and could hardly be considered "toppings".
Due to the slow service, we nearly missed our movie even when we explained that we were waiting for a long time and due to leave soon.
The indigestion due to wolfing down baked dough with two spartan ingredients and the not inconsiderable price nearly ruined the evening. Thank goodness the movie redeemed the night!

A little overpriced and the service a little slow. When the food does arrive however it is delicious. Located opposite the cinema they get a large crowd waiting for their movie which makes it more important to speed up the delivery. A good place to go if you're not in a hurry.

Worst ever! Fine dining-I doubt it! I was looking forward to a rare lunch out with my best friend and unfortunately chose here! We waited for menus- that I fetched for myself, and then again waited for service and waited for our food. Menu was unappealing, with the food over priced, over cooked and under size! Service was rude and almost non existent. Very disappointed and will not dine here again (as this was my second bad experience here-I am one for trying a place more than once just in case they were having a bad day-not the case just bad!). There are so many other better places to eat in this area. Don't bother trying here.

Terrible. The worst experience I've had at a restaurant ever. 90 minutes wait for a simple breakfast service for 5 on a quiet morning and the food was absolutely horrible. Waiters were rude and the manager didn't seem to care. NEVER AGAIN. Don't waste your money. Plenty of better places to eat in this area.

Very nice atmosphere in this bar, very good food, I was particularly a fan of the trio of dips, delicious! The drinks are very good, very good list of cocktails but you can also get a glass of nice champagne for $6.

Tapas are overpriced for a small amount of food. The indoor fires are nice, however food quality could be improved. i have sat down here a few times, looked at the menu and decided other places at knox offer better value for money

Bar Bosh is indeed a great place to relax, wind back with friends and have a nice meal. The food and drinks there have always been of superb quality, and their staff are knowledgeable and friendly. During the colder months, they have outdoor heaters to accomodate those who wish to brave the freezing cold. The indoor ambiance is fantastic. I love it there.

This is my favourite place to eat at Knox. Having Greek & Turkish heritage, the food makes me feel all warm & fuzzy inside. I don't know whether anything on the menu is actually authentic, but who cares when it tastes so good. Hubby will usually try what's on the specials board, especially if it's fish, & the last time it was fantastic. it was like a stew/soup with fennel & a heap of other vegies. I had the paella, which although not authentic, it was pretty darn good. My favourite thing on the menu is the fattoush salad, followed closely by the meat balls, then the pizzas. All in all, it's always a good dining experience. the service is erratic, however. Some days it's good & others it can be pretty poor. I can honestly say, we've never had a bad meal there. Even our kids love eating there, when we have a family outing, & we usually just order a ton of mezze to share.
