the food is great and the coffee is my favorite in Melbourne.. The atmosphere is classy, the sort of place where you walk in and everybody looks beautiful..

I often go here for lunch as the quality is good, prices reasonable and servings are generous. The filled bagels, soups and salads are always good. I can't vouch for the coffee personally as I don't drink the stuff, but coffee loving friends love their coffee. I have ever found the staff rude, but getting a seat can be difficult. I'll often get a bagel to take away. Carlisle street would be poorer without this place, despite the competition.

Great coffee and amazing hot chocolate. Great breakfast also. Lunches are so-so. The problem with this business is the angry staff! They behave as if they are doing you a favor by taking your money. It is amazing. i know working in a cafe is busy but do it with style and class and good grace.
Such a shame. If they could just be pleasant then they would own the street. I suppose this must be why Los Chicos up the road is busier and expanding - 'cause they smile and say "Hello!"

The coffee is amazing! Food is good too with very good prices for sandwiches and scones. The place is small and always full and is very good during winter. The service is not the best as the staff are quite grumpy. But it's worth going!!
