Unprofessional and lengthy customer service. Would not recommend! We paid for GPS and they gave us the faulty one, when we went back to exchange gave us another one which was absolutely useless too and was a risk to use on the roads. When we complained about a time waste and we had to use data on our phones to navigate the car, they apologised but refused to refund saying GPS wasn't faulty. CHEAP NASTY SERVICE AND BAD VALUE FOR MONEY!!!

Very easy to deal with, friendly and helpful. The car was economical to hire and run. This medium size vehicle was spotlessly clean with fresh interior and ran like a charm. Staff went out of their way to give us extra tips and maps etc. about our 4 day trip and arranged, at no extra charge, a later return time even though it was the Saturday of a long weekend .. thanks.

Great experience, they really cared, gave us directions and explained the driving rules, they even printed off maps for us. It was fun to deal with them would def use them again! I want to thank the lady there as she really helped us, explained driving and gave us her phone number if we got lost or needed help, above and beyond. Good first impression of Australia.

Overall we were disappointed for a poor quality car and poor value for money. These are are collective reasons:
- We rented a 3-door Hyundai Getz - the condition of the car was much below the quality of standard of any other car we've rented through other agencies (eg. already a chip in the front windscreen, which is dangerous)
- The first GPS device we were given did not work, so we had to drive back to request a functioning one. It was an out-of-date model anyway.
- The petrol gauge was slightly under full capacity when we started driving.
- Once we reached higher speeds on the freeway, the steering wheel began to shake considerably, which was not only a big irritation when driving, but also a safety concern. We were too far away from the pick-up location to go back.
- The guy who served us was nice enough, but the service was nothing exceptional.
- We would recommend going to somewhere more professional like Budget Rentals instead, which are comparative costs but supremely better quality cars (who we have no affiliation with either, by the way). We tried BC Rentals, thinking it might be a cheaper option, but it was not once we discovered the "unlimited kilometres" price (be careful when reading the "advertised price" as this is probably the "limited kms" option. We were just grateful that our car did not break down. Perhaps it would be good value if you only wanted limited kms and were lucky to get a decent quality vehicle. However, we would honestly never go back to BC Rentals ever again.

Overall we have received good service. Just one thing that admin fee of handling traffic offense charge is ridiculously expensive, A$99 and it should be lower.

Excellent service. We hired a car for a holiday trip. The conditions of rental were clearly explained. The car was well presented and we had no problems. I'll certainly use them again.

BC provided a 8 seater people mover on short notice when other more known firms could not. Staff were very helpful and I will use them again when needed.

we had a very old car, very expensive, the same price than the concurrence would charge for a brand new car.. I said I was not very happy about the quality of the car when returning the car, the lady behind the desk reacted very unfriendly almost not polite, very bad service the worse ever I experienced when renting a car.. Don't go there, there are much better deals in Melbourne with real customer service..

We needed a one day rental and wanted to be able to fly home with the shirt on my back. We required a car that was reliable with decent mileage and BC delivered. They provided a car large enough for four adults and an automatic transmission. The auto was very important to this American driver. Being on the wrong side of the road was challenge enough, so didn't need to have a stick shift.

The car was clean and had reasonable mileage for our trip out the Great Ocean Road.

You won't be disappointed, just make sure that the GPS you pay for actually operates, because they won't refund the cost when you report the poor function.

We were satisfied with BC's service and I think you would be satisfied too. I am pretty picky and will complain when not satisfied. We were visiting from Texas, USA.

No fuss. Pickup and drop off was a breeze. Car was in good condition and we had no issues with it whatsoever. Ideally located near Crown Casino.

Hired a small automatic car to travel down the Great Ocean Road, BC Rentals were easy to find with very helpful staff.

old cars bad customer service, man on desk cannot even explain insurance, staff on mobile phones cars dirty. Woman shouting at me not to speed, telling me she worked for business next door so had no clue abut anything, did not make me feel comfortable. Shambolic!!

Initially phoned to get a quote for a basic 1 day car rental for myself. Had an excellent, thorough explanation of all available rental packages, insurance and optional extras. I chose the "no worries" plan, which is affordable and comparable to other companies I'd researched, and gave my deposit and contact details. I was 30mins early to pick up my car on Saturday but everything was still ready for me when I arrived - all paperwork and conditions were talked through and I was able to inspect the car for damage before I drove it away. Great little basic car that was just what I needed for my journey, and I chose to have a GPS too, just in case (free of charge!)
The staff are all lovely and they didn't make me feel pressured into renting from them, the process was so quick and easy!

I heard about these guys through a friend who rented from them while backpacking. I wasn't sure what package I needed as I have never rented a car before. I spoke to a very friendly staff member on the phone who asked me my needs and then suggested the most suitable package for me. As a novice to car rental I didn't know what bonds and excess meant but it was all explained to me. I was given a used car as I wanted a long term hire. I got it for 3 weeks for only $500. It's not a lot when broken down between the 4 of us who were traveling. The car was in really good condition for a used car and it didn't go too mad on petrol! I am overall really pleased with these guys and would definitely use them again if I was in Melbourne.

Excellent and friendley customer service from start to finish making our experience with BC rentals fantastic. We emailed for a quote and within a day they had got back to us with a price that we were very pleased with and followed up to book us in as soon as we were ready. pick up and drop of was much the same running smoothly with no dramas unlike some others we've hired from! I would highley recommend these guys and we are both very happy to have found them will we stayed in melbourne.

Really happy with BC Rentals. The car they provided was in good order, affordable, and fuel-efficient. Their people were all pleasant and easy to deal with. Only suggestion might be to put up some signage at the airport dropoff location. We weren't sure we were in the right spot when we arrived. We'd rent from BC again, though, no question.
