Becasse

Went for a degustation menu for our last visit and were not disappointed, however left feeling so full!

WOW is all I can say.
We did the Chef's table for my son's birthday & it was sublime. Opted for degustation all round (even the kids loved it) with matching wines for the adults - amazing, mouth watering, a sea of art on a plate.
The highlight? Meeting Justin North, chatting to him about our joint interest in sustainable & organic food and of course, watching an artist at work.
Sadly, I have recently heard about the demise of The Becasse/Etch group. It is such a shame a man of great skill & passion has been hit by the recent spate of restaurant failures. Extremely sad to see this gone :-(

One of my favourite restaurants. Celebrated my partner's birthday here, service and food was exceptional. A bit pricey but dessert is to die for :)

If you are looking for a romantic dinner with your special someone, I would recommend Becasse at Clarence St. It is quite expensive compared to other restaurant but I think it is a good value for money as their foods are exquisite and really special. Love it! love it!

Exceptional presentation, interesting flavour and textural combinations, as well as delightfully knowledgeable service. A dining experience rather than lunch.

The food is superb! It feels like you've stepped into a New York loft as soon as you enter this fine dining restaurant. Serves an amazing array of French Fusion dishes. The staff know the menus very well, although service could be a bit friendlier. Expensive but the food is worth every cent for a great night out.
