Everytime we go for a drive up to Ballarat,we love going to this bakery for a pie. Parking was easy. Didnt wait for service, immediately found a table. This time we had a pepper pie. It was delicious and chunky. Delicious

Stopped by here for lunch, on the way to a farmstay in Amphitheatre. We chose the bakery based on reviews we've read and it worked well.

largest bakery i've ever been to! very quaint and country, staff are local and dressed up in pjs which i found was adorable, massive, great range of food some were a bit pricey but not too bad

loved how they had a little tasting area where all the cakes were cut up and available to nibble on!

Having visited Beechworth Bakery in Echuca, this was top of my list to do in Ballarat! The pies and pasties are amazing and that goes for the cakes too! Especially the french vanilla custard slices!Prices are very reasonable and although it is a huge place, get there early for lunch or you will have trouble finding a table! I wish we had them in Adelaide. Pardon the pun, but they would crap all over Vili's.

We had already been to the Beechworth Bakery in Echuca and we knew there was one in Ballarat it was just a matter of finding it. Once we did we knew the reputation of the food and coffee etc of this bakery and we weren't disappointed. There is an unenviable array of pies and pasties, sandwiches and a seemingly never ending range of cakes and sweet and creamy stuff. It is obviously a very popular and well supported venue as both the times we went there it was crowded, but the service was surprisingly prompt which was helped by the beepers advising when the order was ready. It was also interesting to see a baker adding the finishing touches to a variety of his wares. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and reputation this bakery has. There are also souvenirs and other items available to remind you of your experience. A truly yummy place to keep in touch with your fellow inside.

Great food, and the little beepy things you get to tell you when your food is ready - genius!
I love their coffees and their croissants, high quality bakery/cafe!

Great food, proper 'bakery fare'. Coffee is reliable, love the bottomless cups of tea. Nice, comfy, casual dining.

loved the meal, service was great, always with a smile and asking how are you... even when i wanted a specialised order it was no problem for them to fill it out.

Approximate cost: $7
