Wide variety of products. Everything is delish - coffee, pastries! One of the best.
Beechworth Bakery was a place that I found when randomly somewhere to eat when I was driving past the Yarra Valley. When I found the place, my initial thoughts were that the place looks like a tourist place and the food may not be good, BUT I assumed wrong. We ordered a meat pie, sausage roll, shortbread biscuits and a lamington. All the things that we ordered were amazing, in particular, the lamington and meat pie were one of the best we have eaten. The place gets so busy, but thankfully there is plenty of seating. I suggest getting a seat outside on the balcony. Great efficient service.
Service: Fairly good, counter service only, server a bit vague but did try to explain menu items fairly well, we went at a quiet time to avoid the lunch time crush
Building: historic (old) building, full of character, good location, there is an upstairs balcony which is fun. Access in and around cafe is tricky - take care on old uneven floors
Parking: street spots only
Food and drink: good standard, better than other locations, not cheap prices average to high for a bakery.
Help needed to ferry items to table - not offered
After being given vouchers for free coffee here by the caravan park we enjoyed the coffee and some bakery items. My husband enjoyed a gingerbread cookie and I had the most delicious gluten free jaffa lamington. It was really melt in the mouth.
this place is in such a nice location,we went there for breakfast and just the setting was so beautiful, lots of beautiful cakes to choose from and the service was fantastic,it wasnt too overpriced either which was good
I found this bakery the best & very busy which means its good, quick service,I had a toasted focaccia that was that yummy I went back the next day, there cakes & slices are really good too
Beechworth Bakery is my highlight of going to Echuca as I can't get enough of their beesting cake! The dough is so fluffy, filled with creamy vanilla custard and topped with crunchy, honeyed almonds. I would eat one of these every day if I could. There is a fair amount of seating available but be prepared to wait during busy times as it is seriously popular.
I live in a small community 30klms south west of Echuca, 5 of my 11 granddaughters live in Melbourne outer east suburbs, there is no greater treat than for them to visit and we go to Beechworth for Breakfast as according to them everything is perfect, and they are right of course.
There is a huge range of products available and they are at a great quality as well an cater for everyone. The staff are pleasant and helpful. It is also affordable and is set up very nicely especially if you go up stairs and sit on the balcony over looking the port of Echuca and the Murray River. Will go back there again for sure!
Love this bakery. There are a lot of delicious bakery food to buy here. When I have been there just looking in the shop window makes you hungry.
