I forgot about my results. I called them to see if my test was positive or negative. They said that the Dr Sally needs to say that. As I am now in NSW, she made a phone call today. She only said that Hi xx. Your results were negative. I thanked and then, we said bye. It was not even ONE MINUTE. Then, they charged me 70 dollars for this sentence (which they charged me at the time of the test too), and a phone call that did not take more than a minute. So, once I paid for the visit. Again, I paid for the test results. As I did not have a copy, I called them, and then again they charged me for saying this sentence. The secretary said that Dr Sally insisted that I had to pay, and she cannot waive it. So I paid over phone. Extremely dissatisfied with this Dr. Sally's charge for nothing.

The booking online was accepted. Confirmed with me several times via email and sms with their automated system. I then get a missed call but the receptionist does not leave a brief reason why she is calling or rather tell me the appointment has to be rescheduled. I call back a few times but they never picked up the returned calls.. nor could I leave a message. I get another sms to confirm my appointment the night before and an email the morning of the appointment..the reply confirmed my appointment (automated messages). I turn up ten mins early for my appointment as suggested only to find the doctor and my appointment did not exist! What a waste of time paying the staff and receptionists to sit there at the desk, whilst I receive multiple automated messages to confirm the appointment only to find all that time was wasted and not to mention I did not live nearby to attend the appointment! Waste of time having staff there if they don't answer the returned calls or even pop you on hold and to have automated messages sent that don't match up with their own arrangements. Time wasters!

I do not have a problem with medical staff just the way this place is managed staff at the front desk are off the mark by a mile told me it be hour wait 4 hour later still waiting watching other people walk out unattended I bet they still bulk Bill them do they know what a walk in centre is the staff the front desk told me should have booked appointment was not planning on getting sick I use the medical system not very often and this is way the people who run this place have no clue if was to this bad at my job I would not have one but I think they really don't givea care there making a fortune from this weather or not I come here.

This is a good centre, can’t call it excellent. But it could have been if they chose all their receptionists with more care than just going by looks. I have found some of them to be very ill mannered and generally not pleasant. Just wonder WHY? The appear as though they’re the ones doing the patients a favour. Some of the recent ones seem to be better but one of them is so unsmiling that it makes her look cold and unfeeling. What does it take to have a pleasant demeanour? Or sometimes they choose who they are nice to.
Also, the chairs are really dirty and make me wish I could do the cleaning myself. I would rather not sit in them but who can stand for an hour in a waiting room - and that’s how long one needs to wait usually.
But all in all, for me it’s convenient and the couple of doctors I have seen are good. Have not seen all of them so can’t vouch for them all.
Advice for the head doctor : please give some pleasantness and customer focus training to receptionists. And PLEASE get the chairs regularly cleaned. Thank you.

Belconnen Medical Centre is a very good surgery. I love the service that the staff offers - the doctors, the nurses and receptionist. I have one particular doctor that I like seeing because that doctor is quite good and the nurses are ever so friendly and very helpful especially when it comes to childhood immunisations. I don't live near Belconnen but I travel just so I get the best service medically.

the stars are for the doctor. He was efficient and friendly. He knew what he was doing. BUT i must say the younger receptionists there are no good. There are a few of them most likely in their 20s. Were chatting and laughing while customers were waiting in line to be served. Also werent focused when providing their service, made errors that could have been avoided if they actually listened to what customers were saying instead of being in a hurry to continue with their chit chat. Very unprofessional, felt like i was being served by high school girls.

The waiting time is often fairly long but it is good to always get to see a doctor. Good trading hours and pharmacy on site

The doctors themselves can be very efficient, however they don't seem caring or that helpful when it comes to explaining what your diagnoses is and how it will effect you.
The staff at the front desks are usually unfriendly and impatient.
The waiting times vary, however with an appointment its usually under an hour, without an appointment it can be anywhere from 1-5 hours.
Reccomended for a doctors certificate or to receive a prescription, anything else and you should see a different doctor.

a great doctors surgery to go to. the doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable and they try to help in any way they can. and they bulk bill to boot!

I haven't had a great experience here. The Doctor I had on my last visit mixed up my name and gave me someone else's test results. Unless I need a medical certificate or have to get in fast (they can almost always get you in), I try to avoid it.
