I enjoyed going here with friends one afternoon but it rather trendy and as a result rather pricey for just a couple of drinks and snacks. It's got a good feel and like they advertise it has an extensive range of specialty beers.

Always enjoy coming here for a few drinks after work. Have also had a few meals here and must say I'm impressed with the quality. The meals are large and reasonably priced. Even though it's a beer cafe, they're also known for their mussels which they do in a variety of sauces.
The selection of beers is probably the best in Canberra, and while some of the beers are a bit pricey, you get a pretty decent sized glass.
Can get very crowded here on Thursday nights and weekends so get in early in if you want a table and want a feed.

Approximate cost: $25

Had my birthday here a few weeks ago. LOVED IT!!! Amazing range of Belgium beers. Could have spent all weekend there trying different beers. They also have a great menu.

I went for a snack on a Thursday night and I was attracted to the cafe by the band playing which was bringing a nice atmosphere to the small neighborhood of Kingston. As expected from Belgian beer cafe, it has a good selection of 1kg pot of mussels, which I intend to try on their 'half price' Tue nights. I ordered the Quail Scotch eggs this time instead - they were average. The egg was more cooked than I expected, and combined with the crumbed veal it all got a bit too heavy. I would've also preferred an accompanying salad that wasn't all pickled vegetables. It was a generous serve though for the price and I'll definitely be coming back to try the mussels.
Great selection of Belgian beer and great band.

Approximate cost: $27

Ordered Coffee and Breakfast. The drinks were luke warm but arrived promptly. After 40 minutes our cold breakfast arrived. As we had been told our drinks were free because of the wait we walked out.

If money isn't a concern then this is quite a nice little joint. The decor is unique and the food and beers are all great. The only thing letting the place down is the cost. I know the beers are imported but they are very expensive and the food is too.
