In the past I have never really clicked with a particular hairdresser but when I moved to Blackburn 3 years ago I discovered Claire! And what an amazing discovery... she is THE BEST! She has always listened to me and seemed to really understand what i have wanted in a hairstyle.. recently i did something drastic with my hair and wouldn't have trusted anyone but Claire to do it - she did a brilliant job. I have recommended her to my friends who have also been very happy. She is mature past her years, highly trained & professional. You are in very good hands with Claire. I'm looking forward to seeing her this Friday.
Overall the salon is great - the others are friendly, easy going and all very professional.

I have curly hair & have never had anyone cut it as well as Pete does! You can't beat Pete for curly hair - he knows what he is doing & is fantastic at it!! Just need to book well in advance as he is a busy busy man...

I went to Adam too, for the first time though, and I wasn't impressed. To me, it looked amateurish, had to go back to the girls to wet my hair over and over again as he was fighting my curls trying to get the cut right, and it wasn't a WOW in the end, at all. I went to another place and found a guy who deservedly won most state awards. It took him 15 minutes to do a perfect haircut and style it, and it lasted me for months without looking out of shape. So, Biba didn;t do well for me.

I also see Adam and have curly hair, I must say, after 30 or so minutes of cutting curly hair is a FRIZZ ball! Why wouldnt it be wet down again? I have had many of hairdressers not do so and the end result is not good! However, a 15 min haircut would not yield that problem. Adam and his 'amateurish' ways have never failed me!

Clare has been doing my hair for a couple of years now and I have never been disappointed. The couple of times that I have gone elsewhere (because she was on holidays) I have regretted it. She is always busy so book ahead.

Adam cuts my hair and has always listened to my ideas and also given honest input. He is very creative. All the staff are friendly and I recommend them, Biba, to my friends. They also have salons throughout Melbourne.

While I live in Forest Hill I was going into the city to have foils and colour (blonde),and paying between $230-$280 to a "high profile" hairdresser. As time went on the colour and condition of my hair deteriorated, as did my budget. I went to Biba at Forest Hill Chase where husband and wife team Peter and Simone worked miracles. Simone not only changed the condition and colour of my hair she did highlighting that is still commented on by friends and strangers. Peter is a brillant stylist, and took a hairdressers nightmare and created a great, so easy to care for classy style. If it were not for his passion, and special talent for hairdressing, and the great team that he has, I would have been in a big mess. PS My colour and cut now last me 8 weeks.

Being new to Melbourne I did some research into hair salons in the Eastern suburbs - I had read on a couple of sites about BIBA in Forest Hill so gave them a try for a cut and colour. I was booked with Phoenix for a cut and Claire for a colour. I was pretty specific about what I wanted; both listened to my requests and delivered. It was really helpful service.

Approximate cost: $Standard salon fees

I go to Biba in Forest Hill for my hair. The quality of the hair dye is fantastic and it lasts for ages.
I get my hair cut by Phoenix, she is a very good cutter.
