We attempted to have lunch at Blue Denim a few days ago. We've had pretty average experiences there lately but as it's the most convenient place to grab a bite in Wallan we decided to give it another go. I ordered a salad and my partner ordered a simple sandwich. After waiting 40 mins, our waitress came to tell us that our food would be another few minutes as she had forgotten to put our order through the system. When our food finally arrived, there was a bug on my boyfriend's plate and my salad was not what I ordered (a couple of sad pieces of crumbed calamari haphazardly thrown onto a pile of cos lettuce). We paid for our drinks and left without touching our food. Overall, the service is slow and sloppy, the staff are not properly trained and the food is average at best. Will be giving Blue Denim a miss from now on.

Friendly staff, great service, very yummy pizzas. Prices are reasonable. Small dining area but comfortable. Have a good menu with a range of items for lunch and dinner

Typical cafe type atmosphere. Menu has a good amount of variety. At the time I visited the venue it was quite empty so service was extremely quick. Not a bad experience when it is the only option in the shopping complex.

Cafe is a bit of hit and miss regarding food and service for me. One particular visit i had a bored waitress not really interested in taking my order and the other time i had a wonderful waiter who was genuinely interested in making my visit enjoyable. Food is pretty average. The flavours on the menu sound exciting and tasty but were seriously lacking when on the plate. Very dissapointing. Coffee is pretty good though.

I have been to Blue Denim quit a few times now. What i really loved about the last time i went (just last Saturday) was the service from the young man who worked there. He was very polite, attentive and all my needs were met (with a smile too). He was colourful and quirky, and he brought a good attitude with him to work.
This is a good cafe if you have kids - ive taken my kids on many occassions and had no problems whatsoever.
It did cost $25 for shakes and chips however, but the experience of sitting down with my child inside was good enough to pay that much.

I Have had lunch at blue denim several times and thoroughly enjoyed it I took my grandchildren for lunch and nothing was too much trouble to get the right portion for little ones, they had a great time we love eating here would recommend

Food is alright but particularly for lunch no too many cheaper options. Service is alright but doesn't have the country town feel.

I love the pizza's here - we are a bit fussy with our pizza's and they get it just right. All their meals are great tasting and pretty good value. A great place to take the kids after shopping, or a great place to eat out at night. Excellent all-rounder.

I have only been once and liked all that I ate, everyone around me seemed to like there meals all well , my kids liked the items in which they had to choose from.

There's such a friendly atmosphere here - the staff are friendly & fun, the food is fantastic, & there's a real community spirit here. Their chicken parmigiana & gnocchi dishes is absolutely delicious, and the prices match.

The quality of the service is excellent. The prices are affordable. The atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting. I recommend it as a very good venue to spend quality time!

Well what do I say. I've been here for lunch and the presentation and service is just fantastic. I've also been here for a light dinner on the way to a show. The service is fast and they hurry your order through if you're short of time. Great job guys. Love the food.

Wonderful food! I was astounded at the quality of the food at this little cafe tucked away in the Wallan shopping centre. The best potato wedges I have ever tasted ... crunchy and cooked to perfection! Friendly service and pretty surroundings.

good food but nothing exciting, staff often very young and inexperienced and waiting can be long which is not good at lunch time. waitresses shoul be more service minded as we are the customers.
