I have been a client at Boda since its opening in 2007, and was a client of one of the stylists at her previous salon. I am VERY particular about my hair, and I have never been disappointed with the service or result at Boda. For the price, you get a great colour and cut - as good as those my friends pay $400 for at Toni and Guy. On top of that, the staff are lovely and the salon is beautifully styled and maintained. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get a great cut or colour!!

I bought a voucher online for a cut and colour. The hairdresser was very friendly and we had a good chat about what I wanted. The colour she put in was lovely and I had a fantastic head massage. They have the most comfortable shampooing chairs too by the way.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the cut, it never really sat right, it was not really blended properly. I think the hairdresser was a trainee.

as a person who is constantly rushing and constantly disorganised i was running late for a meeting in prahran when i stumbled upon this place. i dont write reviews but my hairdresser Dani was so impressive you have to give credit where it is due. she found me a place after looking at my desperation although every seat was pretty much full, cut my hair to the precise way i like and without too much direction from me. Like i said credit where its due.. All this makes for one very satisfied guy thanks again will be back.

I belong to one of those email lists where you get special deals, and was offered one for a cut, colour, treatment and blow-dry at Boda. I'd never been there but the other reviews on WOMOW made my mind up for me, and then Boda went and totally exceeded my expectations.

I was made to feel totally comfortable and at ease, was served a coffee and had a consultation about what I wanted from the appointment, and then had my hair washed and given an awesome head massage for 15 minutes.

Angie (the owner) did my cut, and I was thoroughly impressed by the depth of her understanding of cuts and commitment to giving me a great CUT (not just styling my hair), and her easygoing professionalism. Even though I wouldn't normally go to such a high-end salon I didn't feel I was being judged like the very few other times I've forked out a lot, completely the opposite. And the products she uses & sells are really high quality, and she's happy to talk to you very knowledgeably about why.

This place is kind of beyond my budget in ordinary circumstances, but I will definitely be saving up to go back next time I want a proper cut and pamper, rather than just a trim.

AMAZING, finally a cool hair salon with good quality products and the hairdressers are not your typical hairdressers more like catching up with an old friend, i sat down and received a thorough consultation i felt comfortable and my hair looked great it was exactly what i was after. If your in need for a good hairdresser boda is your new one.

Well I must say that if you want to spend a bit of money to receive good quality and great service there this is the place to come to. I got a cut, blow-wave and half a head of foils for $185, which is usually a bit more than i usually spend (especially since im on a student budget!) but the results were great and the service was exceptional.

Boda Haircutter's is not your typical hair salon, the girls there not only do an AMAZING job cutting, styling and colouring but they really make the whole process an experience.
For years I was going to the same hairdresser paying top dollar for an average cut and feeling like I was part of a production line. Since moving to Boda, not only do I feel like their most important customer, but I constantly get compliments on my style and look.
I commend Angie for building such a solid reputable business and managing to stay in touch with her customers whilst constantly having a glowing smile on her face. Angie's “right hand man” Amelia, you can't go past her honest approach, and bold visions, she really takes her time to really get to know her clients on a personal level to compliment their look. Last but not least Dani, newest addition to the Boda crew best head massage ever!
If you're looking for a hair salon to give you the whole experience I wouldn't look further than the girls at Boda. Keep up the good work girls!

It's nice to walk into a salon and have experience/ knowledged girls who listen and do exactly what u want. Since my first experience with Boda I have recommended many friends who have never been more impressed by the sheer proffessionalism of both Angie and Amelia.

You don't walk in too an overcrowded busy loud salon at Boda- it's the perfect setting to spend a few hours to urself and walk out with a beautiful cut and color ur completly happy with!!

Ohh and I love the steamed dim sim runs Dannie does- yummmm ;)

By far the best hairdressing experience I have ever had! The girls were very friendly, but it was all the little extras I noticed which I have not seen or heard of anywhere else! A delicious cup of tea with its own little pot and yummy cookie, and the basin chairs have an in built massage! - it was a cold evening and the girls even put a warm blanket over me as I got my hair washed and treated. As I have scalp psoriasis I quote oftern find hairdressers use products that cause more harm than good but The girls at Boda were able to use a sensitive product that is helpful for the condition and also smelt amazing - and made my hair feel amazing! I even purchased some to take home. Angie coloured my hair and it is absolutely perfect. She genuinely cared about the condition of my hair and gave me professional advice on how to get it healthy. The prices were very reasonable and I can finally say I have found MY hairdresser!

WOW! I can only say kind words for Boda Haircutters. From the moment I walked through the doors i was blown away by the beauty of this gorgeous salon then i had the pleasure of meeting the 3 lovely girls who make this place wonderful. The service was like no other hair salon i have ever been to. They were very attentive and friendly. One of the girls Dani even popped out and got me lunch!!! Amelia coloured my hair and even though i could not communicate the colour i wanted she sat with me and we nutted it out together with colour charts and amelia fine attention to detail. I was wanting to go quite a few shades lighter and Amelia was suggestive about what she thought would and wouldnot suit me. She was also concerned about the health of my hair, this I very much appreciated. I think the best part was when i had my colour rinsed! I think i need to go there more just to experiece those massage chairs at the basin again!!! Overall this salon is not only beautiful but has service which is second to none. I highly reccommend this salon to anyone who wants their hair looked after. I have another appointment schedule this weekend to have my hair styled for an engagement by Angie and cant wait to be pampered once more!
