The gyms equipment is way outdated and seems dangerous. The staff are extremely unhelpful and management is only interested in locking you in a contract. The membership is relatively at a good price, but for what you get, its so not worth. Its a small environment, with constant shower problems and air conditioning issues. The classes are scarce and the child minding hours do not suit my schedule.

Approximate cost: $40

I was a member of this gym in my teens prior to having kids, being local to where I lived it came highly recommended from friends and family.

It was called Shapes back then. It was a great place to workout and staff back then were very helpful and checked on your progress.

Two years ago I toke up membership hoping that service would be the same. Having heard nothing about its name change decided to take the chance. As I am quite scared of gyms and their contracts.

I can honestly say I am really disappointed, Staff are really disinterested in helping you, whenever I query/ask a question about my membership staff members make me feel small and are not friendly, they don't seem to be on the same page on the memberships which is really uneasy for the member.

Exercise Machines are old, showers are not clean, at times the inside of the machines (where you put your water bottles are sticky and have dirty tissues left behind)

There is interference between the TV and Headphones, its very sensitive and alot of crackling comes through if you bump your headphones.

They have a creche where they look after your kids though they don't seem to take the kids to the toilet, my kids are always needing to go after i pick them up - after my workout.

Their toys have not been updated since joining and my kids are getting bored now. Their playstation is never working and the creche ladies do not know how to use it.

Its very disappointing that after 2 years no Personal Trainer has followed up to see how everything is going.

As any gyms they just want to you sign on the dotted line, though if you have loyal members at least show a little compassion and be friendly to your paying customers, we keep your business going.

However I can recommend the Monday morning zumba class it is fun.

Though unfortunately for me based on my experience I will not be renewing my membership.

This gym is great! The staff are all really helpful and you never feel uncomfortable. Its women's only gym so there is no need to worry about sweaty testosterone filled men staring at your and flexing their muscles! Heaps cheaper than fernwood and other big gyms!

The gym is in a good location, being near the station. It's great value for money as it actually costs almost 3 times less than bigger gyms such as Fitness first. The staff are all friendly and the gym is always clean.

Approximate cost: $25/fortnight
