Advice to all you "Do it Yourself Auto Electricians" Don't waste your time.
My efforts in trying to fix a lighting problem with my Jayco Camper Trailer were a complete failure.
Many hours were spent, looking at different coloured wires having no idea of what does what, could have been solved by going to the right person in the first place.
Phillip, at Boronia Automotive Electrics, not only sorted my lighting problems with a simple earth wire solution but provided free tests to try prior to bringing the Camper in.
Additional recommendations on braking procedures while driving were much appreciated.
Excellent service all round. Fair and reasonable pricing.
Highly recommended.

I heard about Boronia Automotive through WOMO and got a quote to set up my Jeep with all the electrical for my new van.
The quote was good, the service great. I would recommend Boronia Automotive.

in the last eight years Phil has fitted electric brake controllers to three vehicles for me - the best service you can get - he is always booked three to four weeks ahead - a great indicator of his quality work and value for money

I have known Phil, Jan and Corey, for the best part of 30 yrs, when i lived in Boronia, Phil and Corey did work on my car and there was never a question, about cost, work done, or quality of work. I would travel a long way, to have the boys work on my vechicles. But, Phil does need a Haircut.!!!

Great service, and clear explanation of all work to be completed. Phil is a very knowledgeable, and honest man, we were very happy with all the work done on our new Prado.

How do you know when a mechanic is lying to you? His lips are moving and there's sound coming out . . . from plenty of bad experiences, this used to be my firm belief until I met Phil at Boronia Auto Electrics and now I'm more open minded. Phil was referred to me to get a trailer brake controller fitted and when I arrived my first impression was that his workshop was spotless. This built some confidence and after talking with Phil for 10 or 15 minutes while he clearly explained the pros and cons of the various models and gave me firm prices up front. He had plenty of time for me and didn't push me down a particular path. When I picked up the car he hadn't discovered any new work that needed doing as they so often do and again he spent another 15 minutes teaching me how to use the controller. what a top bloke. I subsequently had a second battery system installed and the service was just as good second time round. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Approximate cost: $400
