Had a week here on a powered site. This park is/has been upgraded and the amenities have been rebuilt. Laundries and family bathrooms are available but there are no ensuite sites unfortunately. New cabins have been added and look pleasant from the outside. Playground also. It feels a world away from being in a city and has access to a marvelleous beach. Surf club and sailing club next door and a hotel in walking distance.

While our family from Europe is visiting, a few days were booked at the Brighton Caravan Park by many family members from around Australia. Cabins, studios and caravan sites were booked. The receptionist took a lot of trouble to locate our powered site opposite our daughter's cabin. The facilities are very clean and the BBQ areas were very well used as well as the playground. Also the direct access to the beach was also appreciated. A little bit of country feel in the city. A very nice location

Another of Adelaide's beachfront caravan parks. Well laid out with cabins, grassed areas and grassed power sites. Two groups of amenties which are kept clean, games rooms and playground. Of course the direct access to the beach is fantastic. Children spend hours playing in the water and in the sand. Another good spot for a few days of seaside. Hotels and food outlets within walking distance too.

However in the future there is going to be a redevopement of the rear of the park and new cabins etc are being added.

Brighton Caravan Park is tucked away inbetween a cliff and the sea - it makes you feel like you're no longer in the suburbs of Adelaide and it's great for some time out from the hustle and bustle, while not being far from everything you need. The thing I like about them is their big range of accommodation types - everything from the beautiful deluxe spa suites, which have little verandahs you can enjoy a drink and a sunset from, to budget cabins with just the bare basics, but you're only metres from the beach, and also caravan sites. I liked staying in those because I could hear the sound of the waves at night just over the dunes. They even have a special cabin with ramp access for disabled guests. I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the place and you can really switch off and recharge next to the gorgeous beach.

Approximate cost: $130
