We recently had ADP paint our children's 3 large bedrooms with raked ceilings. This was the second time we have employed them and won't be the last as we gradually makeover our house. The boys were punctual, polite and efficient taking only 3 days including de-wallpapering, preparing and painting. I would happily recommend Gary and his crews to anyone.

The job involved a total exterior paint for an old Queensland house, built in underneath with added back deck and carport. Much of its paint was not in great shape, the last painting being about 15 years ago. The job was handled very well and completed in just over two weeks, sometimes with 5 or 6 boys on site. The foreman left nothing to chance, interacted with us over every decision and dealt with the dog-owning neighbours (in whose yard we needed to position a ladder) with courtesy and charm. If we were away from the house when the team left, they followed our instructions to the letter in relation to locking up the house and securing the keys. The quality of the job seems excellent and we are enjoying receiving compliments from the neighbours. We are happy to recommend this company.

We recently had full interior house painting done. I was dreading the whole procedure but Gary and the team made it a breeze. From quoting, to colour selection, job completion and minor corrections everything was completed to our complete satisfaction prior to any payment request. I would not hesitate to recommend ADP.

Internal repaint was done as required. Gary came out prior to painting and discussed and demonstrated the colours after I had chosen them with the complimentary colour consultant visit. The quality of the painting was great. The painter was very thorough and good at teh important cutting in.

I had to have a living room and kitchen ceiling redone with one coat after I made a mess of it myself before new carpet was being installed. Gary quoted for the job on Saturday and said he could have it done on Monday before the carpet went in on Tuesday. It was a quality job. I chose Gary because my Body Corporate had used him to paint the unit block in 2010 at 89 Alderley Avenue and it still looks great. Also because he is a Dulux accredited painter.

a quote to repair and paint a few ‘neglected' areas we identified as possible distractions to potential buyers. An old water damaged wall, set of windows
and the front stairs.

He also pointed us in the direction of a trusted house washer.

As a first time renovator, I approached the painting of my inner city unit with - well "trepidation" :) . Soo many painters but how to chose the 'right one' for me ? Luckily I came across Gary from Applied and Decorative.

I got a few quotes but the reason I chose Gary was because he noticed and offered to do the extra bits that would make a good job GREAT- attention to detail. I had had the cupboard guttered but there were some problems in the cupboard which Gary noticed and stated they could fix and then paint over ! Done !

Colour selection was easy with large panel on wall painted to give me an idea before chosing. Done !

3 years ago, Gary and his team painted the outside of our cottage. When we wanted our current house painted, we did the 'right thing' and got 3 quotes. Gary came out on top again. The team came and completed the work efficiently in 2 days with a 3rd day of quality control to ensure we were completely satisfied with the job. We were. When we want the outside done, we'll just go straight to Gary and his team.

I used Applied Decorative Painting for a full interior paint job, time was very tight with new tenants about to move in. They were able to bring a large team and complete the job in a single weekend. No hesitation in recommending ADP as a professional outfit giving a high level of service.

My house needed painting inside and out. Gary Wilson came out and demonstrated various shades of paint colours by applying these in large sections of the hallway. This made my final choice of combination so much easier. Craig and his team arrived every day on time, they were friendly and polite during the whole 14 days it took completing their task with a minimal inconvenience to my every day lifestyle. They moved all heavy furniture, carried out minor repairs where required and cleaned up in the afternoon on completion of each day's work, no mess and damage. Repainted entire large rendered luxury house fences and pool areas including re rendering some walls. Gary,s colour consultant was very helpful and the tradesmen very obliging with painting sample areas. The overall result is stunning! Any issues were rectified immediately and payment was not expected until we were 100% satisfied.

I would definitely recommend the work of Applied and Decorative Painting. We had the exterior of our house painted recently, and nothing was too much trouble for the team. The service included a Dulux colour consultant, and Gary went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our final colour choice. The team who painted our house were incredibly professional, friendly and easy to deal with. I would suggest getting Colin to be on deck, as he is a fabulous supervisor. Their follow up service is good too...we were told to call if we noticed any detail that needed touching up and they would be back. Although the price was higher than other quotes, we were satisfied that the quality and service made up for the extra cost.

We had to paint our office internally to give it a refreshed look. The guys at A&DP came out to quote us straight away, provided us with colour samples, and had a colour consultant available if needed.
We made multiple changes to the colours prior the work being done, and the boys were more than accommodating.
The work was completed in 2 days as agreed and to a very high standard-no mess, no edges missed!
Would use this company again.

Looking to have my cement resealed, I contacted this company. I was offered a different solution which was to coat it in a "great product" which would have it looking like new. After a quotation, I employed this company to coat my driveway, patio, garden edges and pathways around my home. The initial job seemed to go well but after only three months, the paint began to crack and peel off and as time went on it got worse. It took many weeks for the owner to come and have a look. He promised to get back with a solution and honor his written guarantee. Over a 7 month period, I was given many times that the work would be done but was continually disappointed (and moving furniture around in anticipation). Finally, I was promised that the painters would be coming to scrap back the peeling paint, prep the surface and put down another product which would form a bond allowing a final coat to be put down. There was no scraping back of the peeling paint, no preparing the surface. An apprentice was left to roller over everything including mud, bird droppings, grass, any thing sitting on the cement. I expressed major concern that without any prep this new paint coating would not solve the problem. At the time I contacted Dulux who advised me that the product used was totally unsuitable and would without a doubt come off again. The only solution offered was to put down the same product again - blaming me for the choice of product (because he gave me two choices in his quotation - one which he said would probably last for 15 years and the more expensive a bit longer). He gave a 10 year warranty against peeling but has not been willing to honor it apart from putting down the same product over top of more peeling and paint.

This company has been continually unreliable, failed to use a suitable product and left me with a hideous mess which does not have an easy (nor cheap) solution.
