My partner backed into a car at marketplace, put a scratch on my car but nothing major, the other car was taken to btb repair courtesy of there insurance company, never saw anything including a quote till I got the bill $2700 , I could have had it fixed for around $300 but at btb with an open cheque book from the insurance company they had to take everything of the car to ensure it was fine underneath and charged for the labour by doing so, sure enough with an impact of 3kmh there was nothing wrong other than surface damage, but an extra 1700 for removing and replacing same parts should never be allowed,ad this to the over inflated cost of repairing a scratch and small dent, and you will see why BTB accident repair are on my steer clear list.
