I am a Bunnings fan,but extremely disappointed with the garden dept.
I know the weather has been changeable but stock was sick or dying, does noone tend to watering?
I bought parsley plants, they were so dry I had to soak them, nor sure they will survive.I spend a lotof money at Bunnings, but missing Mornington standards. Covid is not an excuse not to water guys!

I found the customer service was excellent and helped me with locating the products that I needed for my project, the prices were cheap and there was a wide variety of merchendise.

We have been to Bunnings a lot lately and the staff are always very helpful and make time for you. I think the underground carpark is great at this time of year as you can push your trolley down there and unload it into the car, avoiding standing in the rain.

I want to let the Management of Bunnings know I have noticed a significant decline in the level of customer service being offered at the Creswick Rd store from that offered when it first relocated from Learmonth Rd.

Friday 14 Dec, I dropped in during the mid afternoon to make a purchase of garden kneelers. To save time I enquired initially at the front entrance, and was advised I would find them in a certain isle and if not there I may find some just outside the doors leading to the garden centre....No luck. A staff member in the garden centre didn't seem sure, but sent me to another isle number.....No..... My third attempt was a staff member who advised I could find kneelers in another isle number. No!!!!!!. All three of these staff would have been well over 40 years of age, I made the mistake of thinking they would know their store.
Next, I went to the paint centre, but there was only one person working at the time. who was really busy so I decided I might find it quicker on my own.

Finally, after walking up and down isles I found the kneelers right down the bottom on of an isle. I might add that as the basic model I was after is not boxed and so it is not easily visible, especially as they are located directly on the concrete floor at the bottom of all the shelves.
I drove past Masters partially completed new building on my way home and decided if their customer service was decent I would be shopping there.
I would have thought Bunnings would have been preparing for Masters' arrival by recruiting staff interested in providing the customer service, particularly to customers such as myself who openly tell them they are having trouble finding an item.
I remember when Bunnings first relocated; there were sufficient staff to assist customers and the staff genuinely seemed to want to assist. Last week I felt all the staff I asked had something else to do, so not sure if it was a rostering issue although I did pass three staff who seemed to be having a lovely time walking together laughing and chatting???

Approximate cost: $42.00

No huge surprise here JenJo3352, as we have also noticed a huge difference in the level of customer service.

After witnessing (and notifying a specific employee) of a potentially dangerous predicament which I later fell victim too, I contacted management to notify them of the situation with the hope of preventing an injury to another party. Although the manager I spoke with was interested in the finer details (as he wanted to reprimand the employee in question), I barely received an apology. To add insult to injury (and yes, I still have a ‘documented’ injury), the employee ‘winked’ at me as I proceeded to limp out of the store.

Needless to say, I am not inclined to return, although I sincerely doubt they will miss my annual expenditure. Sorely disappointed.

I had an awful lot of trouble trying to find certain carpentry tools which it turned out were not in stock. Disappointed.
