After reading the previous review on this, just had to add mine. This shop is not actually new, the shop itself has been there for ages & the owners now are the ones that owned the shop originally. I found the staff in there to be very pleasant & helpful. There was 2 in there when I went in & they were both adults. I would suggest maybe they had kids serving when the other reviewer was in there as it could have been a busy day for them. Yes some of their items seem a bit expensive but much the same as most fish & chip shops. I had the lunch special prawn wrap & really enjoyed it & my son often buys from here as well & he has never had any problems with the food. Yes the shop is small but there is an area to wait outside so no problem with that.

it certainly wasn't busy when we were their at night. may have been earlier as was a weekend. yes i know the establishment isnt new, the other people moved down the road. we had been going here for a couple of years till they moved. ive never seen a fish n chip shop charge $2 for a measerly slice of
bacon, usually extras are $1.i can buy a packet of bacon for $6. each to there own though. we all have different experiences

Well lets just say we wont be frequenting this establishment. We came back from a day trip and our regular fish n chips was closed so after driving by this place a few times, its only new,and we fancied fish n chips so decided to reluctantly give it a go. The prices are quite high. Looking at the menu we decided on family pack, but asked what the fish in it was. Was told it was hoki, every shop puts cod but they put a cheap import that still tastes and feels uncooked when it is cooked. So changed our minds for cod pieces, prawns ,serve calamari, potato scallops of course lol,sea scallops .the family pack was very small for $30 but what we got was closer to $40! The cod was large and quite nice crumbed, the prawns were big and thick but no taste, the calamari was so chewy,i didn't eat more than 2. The crumb fell off the shrivelled sea scallops ,no bigger than 10c size. The potato scallops were atrocious and small. The paper it was wrapped in was soaked with oil. Very unappetising and wont be making a repeat visit. Small shop,no room for people to wait inside. Couple of tables and chairs out on the street to sit and eat.they have lunch packs and tradie packs but nothing to entice a return visit with costs and the cooking . Scallops were burnt and the batter bubbles up from the potato. They have burgers that seem cheap but paying $2 for an extra piece of bacon was a bit much in my opinion. Staff weren't friendly ,kids just took orders and thats all. Older woman doing the cooking and 4 helpers seemed a bit over the top as there isn't room for them. Will stick to our tried and true regular.

Approximate cost: $10
