Have been coming to Fellini for many years especially for our Pizza and beer and always very happy.
Came Mothers Day and were extremely sad and disappointed. The garlic bread may have had some garlic butter waved over the inner part, very dry and chewy. Our Pizza looked very sparse and no taste at all. Feel sad to be writing this but you need to know.

Fellini is another nice little cafe that does good, predictable italian fare. Their woodfired pizzas are tasty and the coffee is apparently good (so the boyf says!) I recommend this restaurant over some similar ones in the area, as it is the best of its kind.

Shazzbot1 03 Jan 2016

thanks for reminding me, we have been meaning to try their pizzas

Not a bad cafe at all, my girlfriend and i were quite impressed with their pizzas and coffee, hardly any waiting time and staff were friendly. We will return.

Fabulous coffee and the staff are very friendly.
It's among a lot of competition though, so not always my first choice. You get many regulars though

Dessert pizza sounds great, worth trying. My girlfriend is certainly interested in that.

Loved he food and the wine here. Pizzas were pretty authentic but would love more toppings of course. Only set back was the noise in the restaurant

Upon arrival we were promptly given menus. The waitress was friendly and accommodating as 2 of our party were running late. It was quite a busy Sunday afternoon and hence it was noisy and was difficult to hear parts of the conversation being had on our table, as the noise seemed to reverberate around the dining area.

For starters our group shared the trio of dips. The dips were very flavoursome and the tomato one was amazing. Next we shared two pizzas amongst the table. Both the Americano and speciale pizza were delicious, but a little on the pricey side for the amount of topping on the pizza. Drink prices were reasonable and comparable to most similar places within the North Adelaide area.

Have been here a number of times over the years and have found it to be pretty reliable. Last visit we ordered bruschetta and wedges and both of us had HUGE servings (and no hope of finishing them!). I would suggest making serves smaller as they must have a large amount of food thrown out. Very busy at Sunday lunchtime, but not too long to wait for meals.

Great food ,fresh and tastey every time. Never fails me! Their pizzas and pastas are the best! Also love their specials that they have. Awesome cafe, comfortable seating with an upstairs area as well as outside seating. Service was ok and price was ok, bit on the more expensive side. But I still go back anyway , the food is great!!

Quite busy, especially on weekends. I got the salt an pepper squid, was quite large couldn't finish it, tasty though. Food is lovely and their dessert pizza is to die for! Awesome garlic pizza too!

Good pizzas, menu ok but nothing out of the ordinary. Ordered 2 pizzas between 3 of us and had plenty left overs as they are large, quite tasty too!

Good ace for a quick bite. Wines are good and tasty even by the glass. Food was worthwhile and didn't take too long to come to the table. Happy with the service and the overall experience

We had a wood oven pizza which was delicious. Rather pricey for the amount of stuff on it. Parking was a huge problem we had to walk a long way. The staff looked like they'd rather be somewhere else. It seemed a bother to bring us a bottle of water. The milkshake however was delicious. Also it was very noisy, if you want a romantic late night pizza this is not the place.

Have frequented this place as an individual downstairs or part of a club or function upstairs many a time before the current owners and now. the wood oven pizza really is awesome and in full view. My favourites are the calzone and the marinara. It's reasonably priced between $20 to $30 per main course. Down side is they charge % on Amex not on Visa/M/C and some of the imported wines are not the best as per last time we had an Italian White which honestly was not worth the price

The food is great and reasonably priced. Very comfortable, relaxed cafe and has a great air about it. If there is a down side, they charge % on some credit cards, but that shouldn't stop you dining there

Nice cafe to go to for dinner or just coffee. They offer a range of different foods, the pasta is nice here, pizza could be better. We found that the service wasn't that great and the waiters aren't that friendly.

My husband and enjoy going to Fellini's on a regular basis. I really enjoy the spaghetti marinara and he enjoys the calzoni. The food taste better than a lot of cafes and the menu is very good with a good selection of dishes. I've also been to a function and was very impressed with the food and service. I would have a unction here if the apportunity came up. this is a cafe which serves good food. The service f Ok but can be a bit slow and sometimes you need to call waiters over for ordering of drinks. On one occasion we had to chase up our food order. The atmosphere is great and the clientel is godd too. It is also very child friendly.

Yes Rosiney, They seemed to forgot our whole tables mains because we waited a long time, but we eventually got them. Couldn't get too upset because good friendly atmosphere and they are very very busy. Big groups. Popular spot for birthday parties. Had my nieces 21st birthday there. Very loud so don't go for a cosy quiet dinner. Good gutsy Italian food. Word of advice. Servings are generous. I had Fettucine Vegetarian - delicious. Next time I would share this with a friend and then have room for one of their beautiful desserts which looked wonderful, but alas couldn't fit any dessert in. I would definitely go again and would recommend highly to others as a noisy, lively, enjoyable place to be especially on a winters night with hearty food to warm the soul. I love Italian and its good!

Fellini has an atmosphere similar to may italian themed cafe/restaurants, in this regard it doesn't stand out from the crowd. It does, however, make the most wonderful wood fired pizzas, both of which were exceptionally delicious on our last visit (I ordered the millionaire diavalo, with king prawns, scallops, and crab, and my girlfriend ordered the 'fellini pizza' - a vego alternative with roasted pumpkin and bococcini). I have also had a similar experience to Rosiney in the past (another reviewer) - they forgot my friends order, so after a slight delay, they gave it to him for free. Good food, good service, good value.

nice meal, but they did forget to bring out my main course! But they made up for it by giving it to me for free, which was pretty exceptional - they were extremely busy and there were a couple of really rowdy tables so I forgive them. Service was pretty good overall and they make an amazing dessert pizza.

My family and I had booked a table for a Sunday lunch. We were seated promptly but not offered menus or drinks. We waited 10 minutes before we had to go up and ask for menus. We then sat for another 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. We had our drink and food order taken and then waited another 10 minutes for the drinks, only to be served one soft drink with no ice and the other with next to no ice. The food was reasonably promptly served after complaining about the wait. Well, after feeling very disappointed by that stage and feeling like we should leave, we ate our meals and wow, really, really enjoyed the food (but were never asked if we needed more drinks). Our plates were cleared but we weren't asked if we wanted coffee and we had to go up and find someone to ask for the bill. An overall disappointing dining experience.

Great dessert pizzas are available on the menu and there is an upstairs private venue room to hire as well. Lovely alfresco area to sit in the sunshine and have a coffee.
