My partner and I went to this café at lunchtime on a Sunday.
We chose to sit outside in the 'closed in' area, as it was much quieter than inside. (Wooden floors that increase the sound of people taking).
We had the full breakfast - Bacon, Eggs, Sausage, Tomato, Mushrooms and Toast, with Coffee and Orange Juice.
The coffee had a nice taste but was only tepid!
The food wasn't too bad - not very hot though and my overcooked sausage was cold in the middle - maybe pre cooked and thrown in the pan to heat through? Disappointing!
The service was friendly and quick though, so full marks for that.
Average quality food but I wouldn't rush back.

Best place to have a pizza and bottle of wine and recoup from a day at the office. Great atmosphere, good service and space to extend and work if need be. Wines are good and food fresh and tasty

Went here with a group of friends for a catch-up lunch. I had a pasta dish that was tasty but was so large I couldn't finish it. The service was friendly and fairly quick. The price was reasonable. The downside was that it was very busy and it can get quite noisy as other reviewers have commented. I would happily recommend this cafe!

Great pizza and pasta here. I love the pepperoni pizza, the best. And they serve excellent foccocias! The prices are reasonable too. Nothing too fancy about the presentation, not somewhere I'd go for a romantic night out but seems like good place for a family casual outing . Will come again !

Approximate cost: $15

Had lunch here with friends and was most impressed that this cafe/restaurant had a very extensive gluten free menu. Friends were able to enjoy their choices and I had a tasty pepporoni pizza. This was a treat although it was quite expensive (over $20.00) but I have learnt to accept this if I want to eat something nice. Standard foccocia's about $14.00 with a $3 surcharge for gluten free ones. The service was fine and the shop was quite busy. Cafe setup - no tablecloths for lunch etc.

Nice cafe, great for large groups as you go and pay before you order, I recently went with my mothers group as it was great as there is a lot of room. Service is alway very good. Is a place we somethimes go when you dont know what to have, as they always have a great range of food to chose from.

Been there for a long time but the food is still fresh and asty. Had the crab and spring onions and chilli with the spirelli pasta and it was just superb. Coupled with a couple of glasses of nice red it was an enjoyable meal

Delicious food, especially the pasta. I couldn't finish my meal and had to ask to take it home with me, so big portions because I'm not a light eater.
The staff were friendly and polite with good service.
MY only complaint is about the noise. The place has all hard surfaces, so if it's busy it's quite noisy. However there is an outdoor seating area so the noise level is avoidable.
Don't let this put you off though because it is delicious and worth visiting, especially because it isn't overly expensive either

This Cafe is very popular, and I've heard many rave about it. Food is certainly tasty, but I wouldn't class it as spectacular, and the business and noisiness of the cafe makes me more inclined to eat elsewhere- especially as there is plenty of choice in this part of town!

Great atmosphere and lovely food. We wanted a quick bite before we went to the theater. Service was great and the menu choice was even better.

Cafe Mondiali prepares a wonderful assortment of pastas, pizzas and calzones. Although the quality of most of the menu is a mystery to me, their creamy chicken polo is delicious (every cafe prepares this dish and I find myself using it for comparison :S), and their margherita pizzas are tasty (according to my girlfriend). The service is relatively good, they're quick to get the meals out, and the price is also very reasonable.

Very tasty pasta and pizza-especially the vegetarian pizza with pumpkin and feta. The meals are prepared as you order so you know the freshness is there. Salads crisp and the coffee very nice. Can be a little noisy but overal experience very good.
