5 reviews about Cafe Sapore

Sapore always seems to be bustling with people. That's because the food is much better than anything you will fid at Chadstone. This is the first place in the south east suburbs that has a risotto that I can eat. Only problem is that I wish the portions were just a bit bigger.

My partner and I regularly ate at this Cafe throughout 2010 and most of 2011 (at least twice a month). The calamari salad is divine and the owner, Elvis, is always friendly and welcoming. It is a shame that one day a female staff member was extremely rude and then purposely tardy when serving us and that we were then served a fresh juice that they had used the orange skins in, making it so bitter, we sent it back (we think this was done on purpose by the rude waitress). We rarely go to the Cafe now, which is a shame.

the best coffee in chadstone- i go there everyday! the barista is fantastic and always makes a reliable, lovely coffee- take away or eat in. after a mad car parking adventure- go relax with a coffee from sapore.

went here for coffee with a couple of mates on a Friday night. a very impolite waiter addressed us to show us our table and then shoved a few menus right into our faces before we were even properly seated and then stormed off. a waiter then came to take our orders, and we were expecting a nice 'hi, what can i get for you?' or similar, but instead we were greeted with 'what do you want?'

ordered a latte, flat white and a affogatto; all coffee was good with the exception of the affogatto which seemed like the ice cream served with it was of very low quality, which tasted watery and sugary, instead of milky and creamy. on a more positive note, it is a nice quiet place, with a good atmosphere, good for having a chat over coffee or a meal.

Quality food in Chadstone Shopping Centre

Sapore is my favourite place to eat at Chadstone, and believe me I spend a lot of time there. Forget the garbage they sell in the food courts and try out the amazing Asian Beef salad, gourmet pizza's or the Italian Aranchini rice balls.

Approximate cost: $14
