Terrible. read the reviews on other websites.

Postponed the original 8 am booking on 15 minutes notice. Rescheduled for 12 midday. Showed up at 4pm. My son and I helped with a lot of the moving, especially unloading as the daylight was running out. Demanded payment on the spot. When I requested an invoice, they called the company who told them to refuse to unload the remainder of our goods unless we paid in full on the spot. Pretty sure that this is illegal.

Supposed to turn up at noon. They turned up at 4:50 pm. I rang three times, each time to be assured that they were on their way and they would call me back with an arrival time. They never called back at any stage and stopped answering my calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

It was Calwell to Calwell, and they damaged drawers, broke my daughters doll house in three places, chipped furniture, snapped the head off an antique statue, and gouged a 15 metre long scratch in my high gloss hardwood floors by sliding a filing cabinet from the front door, through the dining room and kitchen into the study. Tried to call and complain, but they didn't care, hung up on me once and I had to hide my number to get my call answered at all. Outright rude, terrible service. I just want my floors fixed.

A pack of crooks – worst moving experience ever.
I sincerely hope that anybody reading this takes note. Please steer well clear of this dodgy “company”. It’s simply not worth the trouble. In the spirit of good storytelling, I’ll describe our day from hell. To be fair the job started reasonably well. I personally thought they were a bit slow taking our things down to the truck but I’ll happily put that in the category of “first world problems”.
After about an hour, I suddenly heard a commotion outside. One of the movers had gotten into an argument with my neighbour over their use of the fire doors. Rather than be professional, this worker starts effing and blinding and acting like a first-rate goose then… silence. Assuming he had walked off to cool down, I waited an hour before going to look for him. I discovered, to my dismay, that the truck was gone with half my stuff inside it. No phone call, no communication to let us know what happened… nothing. A frantic phone call to “the boss” revealed that the confrontation had turned physical (still not sure what that means) and the worker was required to leave as per company policy. In short, we were told that a second crew was on the way to finish the job. They took over 3 hours to arrive but to be fair, they did a good job. We did, however, learn that angry boy had to leave because he was on parole and couldn’t afford any mishaps with the police (isn’t it just wonderful to have guys on parole handling one’s personal effects?)
So the rest of the move went relatively smoothly. We paid in full for the job and that was that (or so we thought). The next morning, we realised that they still had they keys to our apartment. They had needed them to get in and out of the building but forgot to return them to us at the end of the job. I rang the “boss” and was informed that our keys would be returned to us later that day. They never showed up but promised to come the next day. The next day, another no-show followed by an SMS from “the boss” offering his most sincere apologies. So this goes on for a few days… me calling, them promising to drop the keys off, etc. After 3 days of this, we decided to try a different approach so my wife called. “The boss” hung up on her mid-conversation and then refused to return our calls or messages.
The next step? Get the police involved. When I told them so, they didn’t bat an eyelid and I soon found out why when I visited the local police station. I was informed that, because I had willingly given them the keys, it was a civil matter and not a criminal one. All this meant is that the police had no power to intervene and demand that they return our own keys to us. As it stands, they have now been ignoring my calls and texts for 10 days, even though I have offered to pick up said keys.
If you want to be mucked around and swindled then, by all means, give this mob a call. They’ll happily sort you out I’m sure.

Hi Matto, I think you have the wrong company as there is no booking in your name, no record (all calls and texts are recorded on our system) of any phone calls or texts.

Last week we used Capital Removal for our move from Red Hill to Campbell. The experience was nothing short of amazing. From the time I enquired about the services, right up until the job was completed, the company did not step a foot wrong. I highly recommend the guys at Capital Removal for anyone needing a removalist.
