Worst site I have used. Looking for a Sales Representative position but there seems to be none advertised on Careeone.

You can't target where your ad is going to be advertised, and you end up getting job applications for other countries with no way of stopping it.

As an employer you get a relatively useless excerpt of what a candidate may be, and won't find out that they're from outside the country until you pay them...

And couple that with absolutely no way besides email of contacting their customer service team (who then don't respond), this site is absolutely useless.

Avoid at all costs!

I placed and ad for a position and have never been able to access the applications. Their "customer service team" have been of no help.

The main issue I have is how they use your contact details.

CareerOne does not give you the option to control what kind of mail they send you in their accounts page, which meant I kept getting unwanted communication from them that periodically filled my inbox.

This was why I closed my account. Not long after, CareerOne used my mobile number to contact me to try and 'personally assist me', despite the fact that closing my account should mean that I don't want to have anything else to do with them anymore.

My advice is to use a disposable email and number when applying for this site that you can get rid of after you're done with it. It's possible that they retain your details after the closure of your account that they can use in ways that you don't intend.

Have tried Careerone a few times now, only to find that their service is not great, I find their website too cluttered.

I have tried to set up job searches many times and have failed all the time, I set them and the job alerts don't come through to me.

I find it too user unfriendly. I even requested for a customer service rep to call me and assist me through the setting up process, though the person that contacted me had little understanding of the English language, which was unfortunate for me.

Have used it many times but only by googling career one, another thing i find annoying is that when you search for jobs and you click on a job then go back it goes back to the beginning which means i have to re start my job search, drives me nuts.
