The wonderful thing about this pharmacy without doubt, is its late opening hours. Usually 8.00 am to 9.00 pm at night during the week and 9.00 to 9.00 on weekends. This is a godsend when your child is sick outside normal hours. Especially so since there is a Medical Centre diagonally across the road which I visited once when my child had an ear infection and the pharmacist at Carnovale stayed open that little bit later to fill the prescription for me.

The not so good thing about it is the corner location. This is a terrible intersection - Maccas and a 7-11 on this main road and truck thoroughfare. There is a little bit of parking around the back, but I'd say go to Maccas car park instead.

They also have a Tattslotto desk if you need that last minute ticket. Nice range of cosmetics too - usually something is on special.

The other point of importance is that they are the only retailer around the Western part of town which carries CPAP equipment - this is the breathing machine used for sleep apnea. So if you need a mask or strap or connection - they've got the spare parts or they can order in a day or so later.

A very handy chemist to know about.
