I don't know why, but the dealers on carsales.com.au can sometimes be pedants. Carsales is a great website, but the individual dealers treat me like an idiot. I ended up buying a car from a dealer outside of carsales, just because they weren't as pushy and unpleasant. It might be an online email thing, but it felt like a call centre that is desperatre for a sale. I guess i just like being treated like a human.

I tried to put an advertise and it got refused that some how my account has been linked to other accounts. This is my only advertise that I have ever put on the site. So I call the customer service and they don't know much but gave an email.
I write an email and get a reply back two days later repeating the same that my account was linked to other accounts while my inquiry was to find out how it was linked. So I email back to find out the reason and been two days and no word from them.
I call again the customer service and the lady is really unhelpful and sounded mean and said to wait for a reply on the email.

It sucks to have been labeled as untrust worthy and instead of fixing our finding out issues their customer service will simply throw you around!

Great website, large range of vehicles, I like car shopping online as it saves so much time going from car yard to car yard. There is always new cars and plenty of them. I just had to use this site to find a 7 seater mini-van. I found exactly what I wanted and at the price I wanted to pay. Has so many other features too, like Red Book, reviews etc. Also has an app for your mobile, so you can search on the go.

The service is good, however the market it slow in selling this particular car type at this time, so our car has been listed for quite some time on there still. It is a very convenient service and reaches a lot of potential customers.

This is a very helpful site and very easy to use. After posting a for sale ad for our Nissan Navara truck, it only took us a week and then it was sold. That quick. This is a reliable website that is why a lot of people are using it either for selling or buying a used/ new vehicle. Check this website and carefully follow the instructions (when you are selling) so you can have emails & phone calls coming. I never had a problem using this website. I would love to recommend carsales.com.au.

Was easy to place an add I didnt need to call them so i cant comment of service but the website works. I sold my car in 2 days! Word your add right with out the any crap and you'll sell it!

I sold our two family cars through carsales.com.au this year and wish they had been around when I had to last go through this process years ago. the ads were good value, the web site is quite user-friendly and overall, a far better way to sell your car than through newspapers. I will use them again to buy and sell, 5 Stars.

Post your car for sale on carsales.com.au You pay only one fee and keep your ad there for as long as you want. Once you sold the car, you can remove the ad. I sold few cars there for a very good price.

Put an unique car on carsales and it sold in 2 weeks. Got a good price for it and setting up the ad was easy. However, my fiance also has a car for sale on this site that is not overpriced but has had no interest, no calls, no emails, nothing. Okay for unique cars, not so good for normal cars.

I tried to sell my car on carsales.com.au. Not only are they way overpriced, but their website is buggy and difficult to use. I got a lot of phone calls from people asking me stupid questions about the car (why should I buy your car and not another one like it?), and I had some people try to negotiate the price over the phone without even seeing the car first. My asking price wasn't unreasonable, I followed their price guide. I got a lot of spam email and some scams too. Overall I wouldn't recommend Carsales for someone wanting to sell their car, there are better options out there.
