I had paid for hampers for 5 years. Lastvpayment was end of 2017. I chose Coles vouchers. They issued voucher, but according to Coles stopped the card in feb 2018. I tried to use it unsuccessfully. I then called Coles who told me castle cancelled the card 3 months after issue. Have called emailed and still no reply. I have called Accc consumer protection for advice. They are flooded with complaints. Stay well away from castle chrisco hampers

Contacted Castle Hampers looking for information about a $2100 garage ,shed in 2016 catalogue sold and delivered to site. ( grossly over priced) Nobody at Castle knew the type, supplier, information on guarantee or any other details. They were not able to raise their own 2016 catalogue. After speaking with 3 different people all my calls were vetoed and I was cut off instantly. Buyer be ware or in this case don't buy

I am still waiting for delivery of my gift s hamper through castle I wonder if any one else is ? Castle has not given me a solid date only a date from such in such to the end of November 2017 so annoying

I am also waiting on my gifts and christmas items, they told me the last day to receive them is the 29th November so if you haven't received them by then, call on the 30th. I am still waiting on my giftcards, I was told they would arrive today, obviously it wont be today.

I have received mine it is not them , it is the courier people the ones that deliver them I guess with so many to delived they are behind I hope you get them soon

Used to be great but will never use again. They changed my order all the time. I know what I ordered and they are trying to tell me I didn't order what I expected. I ordered one single bedroom pack. I end up with 3 queen and get 1 thing out of the pack instead of the many other things that should have come with it. I Just cancelled my future payments and now I don't get back the payments I made after this year's order was payed for! Unbelievable. I had $1000 dollars of stuff ordered last year and no problem. I really relied on this to help me through each year but never again. They won't take any responsibility for anything they stuff up and blame the customer. Rude and arrogant.

You would have received a statement when you placed your order, everything is listed on it, so if they had changed your order you would have the proof. Possibly, you didn't check your statement and didn't realise that the wrong item had been ordered. i have been with them for many years and never experienced any issues - I always checked my statement after placing an order. You can also check online at any time.

It has been around 14 years now that I have been ordering Hampers and gift cards from Castle Hampers, certainly makes Christmas and the holidays a lot easier. The staff are always friendly and helpful, payments are easy. They never take money out of your account without authorisation/confirmation first.

Been customers for 10 plus years but never again. Absolutely rubbish service and low grade meat. Having to wair 12 hours for a delivery (a ridiculous timeframe for any half decent courier company) just to have no delivery then no response to calls or emails. Called on the weekend to arrange another delivery date because apparently, according to them, we weren't home. Even though to get to our house you have to go past our garage which was opened and we were both inside all day waiting. No one showed. Then trying to arrange another delivery date was impossible so arrange to pick up and treated like we are [redacted due to offensive language] and everything's to difficult. Nobody has still answered our complaint or returned our calls. Never again castle.

I use to get my orders left on the driveway. They didn't even knock on the door yet they say you have to be home! Anyone could have taken my parcels. One year we went out for a few minutes. We passed the truck wondering if it was them and got home to all the boxes left on the driveway. They are useless and I hope they go bust.

I love castle hampers ive been buying for the past 4 years i only pay $53 a fortnight and what i recieve last myself, my partner and 2 kids nearly 7 months thats including my meat hampers i get. So for me it saves me so much money. I would recommend it.

CASTLE HAMPERS SCAM!!!!
Beware of Castle Hampers cold calling you asking if you would like $50.00 off a hamper. If you say yes, they say they will link it to a "Quick Bites hamper", you wont know what they mean, but your'll probably say ok? Like I did, and this is all that was required to place an order (293.80) without my knowledge. All I agreed to was for them to send me catalogues with a 50.00 off hamper. But they unknown to me used my bank details from an order I had I placed with them 12 years ago. I was unaware that an order had been placed until, the weekly payments kept coming out of my account. Four payments before I noticed. I am going through my banks fraud department to get the money refunded. I have contacted the ACCC (scamwatch), and just want to warn people!
In my view, companies that pull this kind of low stunt to get money are usually going under, so beware of Castle, and watch your money. Phoned castle, but the manager is overseas and they would not let me speak to the stand in manager. Said they will call me back, but of course they have not.

I don't believe this review. I have been with Castle Hampers for around 14 years now. They do not hold onto your bank account details for 12 years. Also they confirm everything when you place an order. They are not a scam. And by the way you can cancel your order and receive a refund. They also send you and email or letter to confirm the order before taking any money out of your account.

Have been ordering from Castle Hampers for about 10 years now (I actually order from all three hamper companies) Love the variety of hampers, toys, alcohol and gift cards, it makes christmas at our house so much easier. I have found their customer service to be excellent, just some of the delivery drivers not so pleasant - can be quite rude. A great way to do all your Christmas shopping, yes it is a bit more expensive than in the shops - but its the convenience of paying if off in little bits and not having to deal with all that Christmas grocery shopping. Highly recommend.

I just love Castle Hampers! I've had my Christmas Goodies bought via them for the last 5 years. You name it, foodwise, they seem to have it. You can choose from a great many hampers - toys, food, frozens, alcohol, presents.... Since I first used Castle Hampers, their selection has increased exponentially! You pay a bit a week/fortnight until the amount is paid for. They then have a delivery service to make sure you get your goodies in plenty of time for Christmas.
An awesome service. A timesaver.
