This is the 2nd time my cat Mya has been in Cat Utopia Resort & Spa this year, January and March this year (2022).

Some background:
Mya is 11 years old and not a very friendly cat to other people, I re-homed her at 6 years old, so she had issues I didn't know about. So, she's not the friendliest cat and also she's a big cat (8 kgs). I did warn staff about her. Mya had never been in a cattery before January this year.

She was perfect on my return, happy and affectionate. Just like she too, had a holiday :)

I believe she had the best care.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND Cat Utopia Resort & Spa. I didn't worry at all and I would have no hesitation or guilt feelings of leaving Mya again in their care. The nannies are lovely and so caring.

Cat Utopia have made me review my thoughts. I was of the opinion that animal care was a cage and secure shelter. NOT CORRECT. If your Cat is a true family member go to Cat Utopia it is astounding..... Rooms for Cats..... are you serious... you had best believe it or better still the next time you need care for your cat go and have a look.
OK you say but at what cost? A little more than a caged incarceration with love care and attention. After all if an elderly relative needed full time care what is the priority..... surely your family member cat should be no different.
If my Wife ejected me from home I would go there and book the big room for myself.

I wouldn't leave my precious Maxie anywhere else. Amanda and the Nannies have been looking after him, when I go away for years now. It is always a pleasure to see Amanda and the girls and know that Max is being loved and cared for by people who love him.

Such lovely, helpful and caring people! Everyone at Cat Utopia Resort including Amanda, Rebecca and Stephanie always go above and beyond to ensure my elderly cat has the best possible holiday and stay. Their knowledge is exceptional and all staff have been an absolute pleasure to deal with, spanning over many years now. I have never known such hard working people who genuinely care about great customer service and of course our fur babies - so a big thank you!! :) X

Don' t know what has changed, maybe staff that were patient and cared for our cat have left, but certainly the last two stays for our older cat have not been great.
We trusted them again after they gave our cat too high a dose of insulin (insulin should be adjusted if a cat isn't eating well, and the "cat whisperers" at Cat Utopia know this) and she had to be rushed to their vet as a medical emergency. It is miraculous that she survived as their vet is a good 20 minute drive away, so very tricky in an emergency situation.
We have now been told our cats are no longer welcome. Apparently our 17 year old, diabetic cat causes the nannies no end of stress.
Really, you shouldn't talk yourself up and make statements about your "profound knowledge in the feline world and that you can help even the most difficult of cases.” - when you really can't.

We are appalled at the way they have behaved.

My Charlie cat has stayed at Cat Utopia 4 times and thoroughly enjoys his holiday's - we like to call it "Cat Club Med". I wouldn't consider any other accommodation for him when I'm away from home because I know that he's in such caring, loving and professional hands - this crazy cat lady cannot say enough good things and HIGHLY recommends Cat Utopia for anyone wanting a secure and loving home-from-home for their furry friends. my two cats just love staying at this establishment. they come home in a very relaxed manner - better than any previous experience at any other establishment. Aside from this the staff are just brilliant - definitely recommend

Knowing our 2 cats were going to be well looked after by the caring staff at Cat Utopia gave us peace of mind. The transit lounge made it easier for us to drop them off and collect them at a time convenient to us. It is a great facility and I would recommend it to anyone with cats.

Such friendly, professional and caring staff very suited to this industry. Very modern and clean premises this is the best cat resort on the Central Coast. I not only love the choices of rooms available but also additional features including the before and after hours drop offs if needed and pricing to suit any budget. So conveniently located a short drive from the main highway yet the location itself is extremely tranquil and serene, surrounded by wildlife. On my many visits the cats always look very relaxed being there and my own cat always returns home happy and healthy each time. Fantastic place!

that said, ive visited petadvisor.com, facebook and even this website that ive never heard of before to make sure the ladies at cat utopia get the shout out they deserve.

Our cat Charlie, has stayed at Cat Utopia a number of times now latest being this Christmas & New Year break. She is always very well cared for and loved there. Charlie obviously gets all the cuddles she needs (demands!!), & never seems stressed when we collect her after her stay. There i is only positive feedback I could offer in relation to the care service and spotless environment they provide. The staff are just lovely, well organised, communicate well and are eager to help whatever the situation may be.
The cat taxi is another valuable service available. The New refurbished after hours transit lounge is great for the cats!
Myself, and Charlie are very happy to recommend Cat Utopia to any cat owner.

I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could! We just picked up our cats from a 3 week stay, and we are super impressed with Cat Utopia - It was worth every penny! The ladies there have been lovely right from our first enquiry and tour of the facilities. Our cats have previously stayed at another popular boutique cat boarding place in Sydney, but I have to say Cat Utopia was world's better. The rooms are extremely spacious and full of natural light as well as being beautifully decorated. Lilly and Moses even had their own small outdoor patio attached to their room. I don't know how they do it, but Cat Utopia is squeaky clean and even smells lovely. Our cats came home relaxed and happy and were even given some small toys as gifts from Cat Utopia. We really enjoyed the photos we were sent of them relaxing in their room and exploring the jungle gym. From the stories the staff told us when we picked the cats up, it was obvious that they had gotten to know Lilly and Moses and understand their little quirks and that they genuinely cared about them. Highly recommend!

My little buddy Meatball was pampered and cared for quite well during the week of the X-mas holidays. Thank you again for the second year in a row for tending to my kitty.

My girls Misty and Mocha are always well looked after here. The nannies are so lovely and the facilities are immaculate! I picked them up today after an 8 day stay there and their long hair coats just shone.. they pamper and care for them so much that I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Thank you to everyone at Cat Utopia..highly recommend them

My 13 year British shorthair has stayed several times over the last 2 years. The nannies always are friendly and Polly is well cared for.

I recently left my two older kitties (one 16, the other 13 or so) in the Nannies' hands. I had to go overseas for a family illness and wasn't sure how long I'd be gone; I actually ended up being gone for 9 weeks, which is the longest I've ever been away. I always worry about my babies when I have to board them, especially as my Burmese, Girlie, needs medication twice a day and my other cat, Maxi, is quite easily scared. Everyone at Cat Utopia showed me the utmost kindness while I was away, for which I will always be grateful. I haven't been able to visit the place itself, yet, but there is no question in my mind that they are doing wonderful things while the cats are there. Usually my cats come home from a boarding facility a bit anxious, thinner, and frantic to be near me. When my cats arrived home from Cat Utopia they looked absolutely GORGEOUS! They actually looked better than when they left home. And instead of being anxious and jittery, they settled in at home straight away. They were glad to see me, but they didn't exhibit the sort of panicky "please don't leave us!!!" behaviour that they have in the past when they've come home from other boarding facilities. They were even a bit blase about everything. To be honest, I think they were wondering where all the fun things they'd gotten used to at Cat Utopia were! I cannot recommend Cat Utopia and the people who work there highly enough. From now on, that's where my cats will stay. Thank you again so much, Cat Utopia, for your kindness to me and your superb care of my dearest cats!

My oriental boy recently stayed at Cat Utopia for 2 &1/2 weeks. I was a little anxious about boarding him in a cattery as I've had bad experiences elsewhere before. After visiting Utopia's website my husband and I went to have an inspection and wow, how different is this place to any other we've been to !! The first thing that hit me was the smell - no pet smells, but the most delightful fragrance in the air - like honey I think, it was beautiful whatever it was. We were taken right through the premises visiting all the residents and different choices of rooms we could choose. All the rooms were clean and fresh. All the cats seemed happy and friendly . It was obvious they were getting lots of attention from the nannies because they recognized Nicole (the nanny showing us around) right away and responded to her. The other thing that impressed us was the fact the nannies know about breeds and what their different needs are - you don't need to tell them - they know !! My little Oriental needs lots of attention and action, and that's exactly what he got. I'm so happy I found this place and I recommend you try it !! All the nannies are lovely and they give you feedback, and let’s face it, we all want to hear about our much loved kitties. I'd like to say well done to Amanda (the owner) for creating such a lovely place. Oh - one more thing, our plane was 2 hrs late which put us very behind picking our boy up, and because Max is a very active young thing, Amanda didn't want him sitting in the transit lounge waiting for us, so she happily stayed behind to wait for us. Care right to the very end. Thank you Amanda, and thank you all the nannies and especially Nicole - you are just gorgeous !!

Our cat Milo has stayed at Cat Utopia twice now. He loves people and both times he was very calm upon pick up, which tells me a lot! The staff are well organised, communicate well and are professional in the way they deal with clients, and they follow up after pick up. The accommodation is very good at each package level. The after hours transit lounge is great - and safe for the cats! I am very happy to recommend Cat Utopia to any cat owner.

After leaving Adelaide at the start of the year where we had a fantastic place for our Bella to board, we were worried about finding an alternative when we moved to Newcastle. We needn't have worried because we soon found Cat Utopia. After 3 stays, we are more than happy to recommend Cat Utopia to any potential guests. Amanda and all the Nannies we have met are definitely cat people and Bella comes home healthy, happy and safe.

I recently boarded my two boys Weasley and Pablo with Cat Utopia, while I moved from Sydney to Newcastle. Weasley is a highly anxious hand reared cat who hates change of any kind; and I had been dreading how he would cope with this one. I was pleasantly surprised on pickup, to find both boys comfortably asleep in their igloos completely at ease, in the transit lounge. Both boys eagerly explored their new home on arrival, which astonished me no end. Having always previously boarded them in the city, they were uptight on arriving home and took a few days to re-adjust. I can only imagine it was the abundant care received from your nannies, the generous size rooms and calming nature of your facilities, which has made this great difference. I look forward to using the facilities when I next go away on holidays, knowing that my boys will be happy and content. I highly recommend Cat Utopia to all who care for the well-being of their cat.

I always feel at ease to leave our 2 babies at Cat Utopia. It is meticulously clean and the nannies are excellent. I have looked at other accommodation which is closer to where we live, but no where near as good as Cat Utopia. It is a true home away from home in beautiful surroundings.

My 3 kitties have been coming here for nearly 10 years. I know they will always have fun and get plenty of attention and I never have to worry when I go away. They always come home so relaxed.

My 2 cats get the seniors package and it's fantastic! I really love the transit lounge that allows me to drop off and pick up my cats out of office hours in a secure room with individual crates complete with bed, litter tray and water. The jungle gym is fabulous as well and the staff extremely caring and cat loving!! I can go and enjoy my break knowing that my cats are happy and healthy.

We wouldn't leave our cat with anyone else. The nannies genuinely love and care our puss whilst helping keep him on our vet prescribed diet which is a great relief.
The accommodation is well appointed and we love that our cat gets his photos out up on Facebook so we see him chilling out whilst we are on holiday (it's usually the hi-light of our trip!)

Collected my 3 fluffy friends from Cat Utopia yesterday after a 3 week holiday. They were, as always, amazingly cared for and happy little beings when I picked them up. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my fluffy friends. If you need someone to care for your cat/s, Cat Utopia is worth every penny
