Always tasty and fresh! A family favourite! You get great quality food for minimal amounts which is hard to come by these days! Been coming here for years so have tried pretty much everything they have to offer and have never had a problem! Highly recommend

Great service here and everything is usually cooked really well. I would have to agree the potato back is pretty awesome. Never been left waiting long for my order and like that they have a variety of different meal deals to chose from

A family favourite - I believe they also own the Burger Lounge which is another great place. Great range of fresh salads. Call ahead to save a long wait for dinner. Great take away, good price.

The BEST charcoal chicken in Melbourne. They have aromatic rice as part of the stuffing which permeates throughout the super juicy chicken. How is it I never knew about this place before??? Next to the big round-about going towards Eltham

The chicken here is unbelievable! I can finally have charcoal chicken thanks to Bolton Chicken due to having Coeliac Disease. There chicken is fully Gluten Free and it tastes so good!

This is the best charcoal chicken shop in the area and beyond.always busy but service is good and worth the short wait as they are very organised and have many chickens cooking at the same time to keep up with demand.

This place is AMAZING!
I love every piece of everything there. I would eat the entire shop in a heart beat. Everything is always perfect and of course, because the food is good, the business gets extremely busy but the staff are fantastic and keep the orders coming out!

The food here is great. The chicken really is better than any other take away chicken. Great salads, and of course the kids think the chips are the best bit. Good range of deserts including great chocolate moose. Can be a bit hectic at peak times, so be prepared for a wait.

Arguably the finest charcoal chicken in Melbourne . You come to understand how fresh and tasty the chicken is when you visit other chicken shops. There is simply no comparison!

My family are regulars at this chicken shop. There is a wide variety to choose from and it has great and vegetarian options. It does get very busy around dinner time though so expect a little wait.

The chicken here is awesome, my whole family loves it and my fussiest daughter will eat it too! The salads are always fresh, the roast veggies are yum and there is a high turn over so you know that the food is not sitting around all day. Clean establishment, good choices.

The best in the business, and their potato bake is to die for!!! The free range chickens are always fresh, tender and moist. Selection of salads and desserts, souvlakis and burgers all great quality.

The place looks VERY TRENDY (unlike all other suburban take away shops), ample place to eat at sleek stainless steel tables, the place is clean.
The food is fantastic and they use free range chicken cooked on charcoal, which tastes great!

My partner and I go out of our way to buy salads from this place - they are simply the best around, and fantastic value for money. The kebabs are great too. Haven't experience a long wait yet, but we usually come in during the middle of the day. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

This place is everyone's fantasy chicken shop to have down the road. Lilydale free range chicken, brilliant fresh salads and probably the best souvlaki I've ever had.
It is absolutely packed and unfortunately the service doesn't quite match up to demand. I think there's simply too many things on the menu, which means the stuff are running around in circles trying to get everything done. Be prepared to wait about 2o mins for takeaway but when you get it it's delicious.

After trying chicken from here I no longer go anywhere else. The quality and flavour is amazing. The fact that they use free range chickens makes all the difference. You pay slightly more than you would normally expect but it is well worth it. Salads are definitely worth a try.

The chicken is the best and I love the rice stuffing they use. I prefer to buy my chickens from Bolton Street because I'm supporting the production of chemical free chickens. I really like their layered potato bake and they have a great range of fresh salads. You can also get baklava and turkish delight, gelati and take home fresh pasta packs. It gets very busy in the evenings and it pays to have a menu at home and ring your order through 15 minutes in advance before you drive up.

Best charcoal chicken burgers goin around!!! i totally agree with jdub!!! the only thing i can think of that keeps them from being the best you will ever taste is mediocre chips, they're good, but not the best. Also, the por service is expected due to small businesses hiring of 15 year old students, but it is still very quick.

The burgers at Bolton's Charcoal Chicken shop are a cut above the rest. For a healthy, better tasting alternative to likes of McDonalds and co I highly recommend this shop. For around 10 dollars you are able to purchase chips, a drink and a burger, all of high quality. Plus there are an multitude of salads, if one is feeling slighly more peckish.
