The fish and seafood is fantastic but the chips are terrible especially in the evening when it seems old friend chips are refried a couple of times terrible please change the chips

Great fresh seafood at affordable prices. Cooked food also good, always busy so you know with high turnover food will be fresh. Staff always helpful.

The chips left a greasy taste in my mouth but the fish was quite nice. Prices were average and the service friendly but slow.

For seafood lovers Charis Seafood is the place to get it - at least on the North side anyway. Their seafood is so fresh and delicious. In busy times they always have plenty of staff on to serve you - I really appreciate this. I can't say enough about how good quality their seafood is. You get to view all the options. There is parking out the front for about 20 cars. They also offer a fish n chip shop. Yum! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

this is our one stop shop for all our seafood needs!! always so fresh and the customer service is excellent. such a great location on the broadwater so we buy our seafood for the week then grab some fish and chips and sit at the park and let the kids play.

I love this shop. They have a huge seafood cabinet with a huge variety of the freshest possible at reasonable prices. Their fish and chips are delicious. Great for a day down the coast

Charis is so great, the food is so tasty, they have chicken salt to the side so you can put as much as you want and everything there tastes so amazing.

They have lots of dipping options for food and i recommend them all !

I especially love the dory meal where you get chips and a drink, also the battered prawns and crumbed calamari are amazing.

Be sure to grab some tartare or other sauce to dip everything in and cover it in the chicken salt !! It is like a delicious party in your mouth !

Prices are resonable-really good as the meals are big (depending on what you get they can be very very big), filling and delicious.

Every $ is well spent especially as, with people who arent big eaters, the fish and chip meals (and some other meals) are big enough to share, or you can grab a side if you need a little extra !

They also have pelican feeding every afternoon which is very entertaining.

Wow, this fish and chips shop is excellent. Whenever we go there we always have lovely fish and chips. It is also very educational for our son who goes and has a look at all the fish. Our son loves anything to do with the ocean and the staff don't mind telling him the different types of fish etc. They also have pelican feeding at 1.30pm everday. It's a lot of fun to see.

The food was great, and was pretty quick despite it being a very busy period. A great selection of seafood you can't get in most places. I would definitely revisit.

Really great location, can't beat fish and chips on the beach. Food is a little pricey for fish and chips but sometimes you do get great quality, however not always. still worth a visit though.

I love choosing my fresh fish and having it cooked on the spot, and then head outside to eat it by the ocean. They even sell seaweed which I enjoy immensely. Nice, clean, fresh 'restaurant'.

Every time I visit the Gold Coast, I take my family here as we all love seafood, and Charis Seafoods is simply hard to beat in terms of freshness, quality and variety of seafood on offer to take home and cook yourself. Or, if you can't wait (like my hungry family) Charis has an excellent takeaway menu. So all we bring is our picnic blanket, then we buy our food there and enjoy it whilst sitting footsteps away from the broadwater or watching the pelicans feed. The kids also enjoy swimming here, playing on the flying fox, playgrounds, and more. The only downside is that every time we do come here the carpark gets filled up pretty quickly so we often have to park further away, although it's worth it because it gives us time to work up an appetite during our healthy stroll along the broadwater to Charis :-)

Good spot for fish and chips, they do burgers aswell if your not a seafood person. They have fresh seafood aswell which is good. They feed the pelicans at 1.30 every day great for
kids to watch

If you want awesome choice and amazing fresh seafood this is the place. Is the best place on the northern end of the coast to eat fish and chips or whatever takes your fancy. This place is clean, staff are helpful and food is top class. Can't go passed it if you are a seafood fan and wanting takeaway.
