Service only made 2 stars. The actual wait staff are fine but the manager offers pretty poor service and treats his staff poorly which is disappointing for customers to see so they they were dropped from 3 stars. Their Congee they offer is full of flavour and stands out aboce the rest of their average food. Their opening hours are fantastic (i think they're open till either 2am or 4am).

This is a cheap, busy little place where you get a great meal for a cheap price, as with lots of places around box hill. This place feels a little more solid though with an array of food and a modern atmosphere.
Worth a look on a Sunday night.

The food there is pretty basic- throw everything in- quick toss- no skills involved and full of MSG. Not sure how the Chinabar franchise got so big in recent years. However, the menus are useful for people not familiar with Asian cusines as they have many photos

Great for casual dining... Choice of food is excellent as there are a lot of things you can choose from (stir fry, yum cha dishes, soups). Good value for money as the portion is huge.

Last time i went, i ordered a beef brisket hor fun. But they gave a beef brisket egg noodle. I asked for no chilli because i can't eat them, but there were traces of very, very spicy chilli in my food. The service was good though but far too noisy for me and my family. Recommended to singles and couples but not families.

One of the best all rounder asian restaurant. Service is quick, efficient. Food is divine, with decent size servings. Love their Hainnanese chicken rice, but need more chilli sauce.

I regularly eat at China Bar, usually with a big group of friends. The staff are attentive and the food is quick and cheap. It's fairly standard Asian fare but at this price it's an absolute bargain! Huge menu with some deliciously interesting Asian drinks. BBQ pork is yummy!

I regularly eat here. Great food, and good range of various Asian cuisines - very quick service. Prices are quite reasonable. Can get very noisy when busy.

Nice place for a quick feed at a affordable price. Good range of menu items and sweets. Recommend the noodle dishes and grab a bubble cup to finish. Open late hours so whenever your hungry you can head down.
