This is the 2nd "Cho" I have tried, first one is the Cho Express in Hurstville. This has been in the same place around the corner for as long as I can remember and probably first "Cho" Taiwanese cuisine. This shop serves decent Taiwanese dishes Namely the Beef Noodles Soup which is also my favourite. Different to Cho Express in Hurstville, the noodle soup actually serves in a bowl instead of plastic take-away container. They also have a range of small dishes/plates both hot and cold displaying which can be seen through the windows from outside of the shop. Some of these small dishes are pickles, spicy fish, pig ears, duck giblets, potato mashes, beans and quite a few which I can't name. They have a limited drink menu but their drinks are so great both on a hot and cold day!

Price is affordable. Food is fresh with large portions and the owner is really friendly. The hygiene of the tools like cup/glass are questionable as I have the experience the cup is oily and have lipstick on it.

I've been a customer here for years and the food has always been consistently amazing. I never eat anywhere else for Taiwanese food - the prices here are the best you'll find and the serving sizes generous.

Cheap and good Taiwanese place where you can either order from the menu or pick any readymade salad from the cabinet. They have many variety of food and I still haven't mange to taste them all. I like their eggplant salad and anchovies salad as well. I also like they deep fried chicken. The eating place is small so normally you have to wait. They do good drinks as well.

The decor is not really nice and the place looks really cheap, but the dumplings are great! You can get a dozen for 8 dollar, so a great thing to do if you are on low budget! Drinks tend to be on the expensive side, but with cheap food you come out about even! Easy destination by train, walk from central or town hall or bus stops on George St.

This tiny little place get's so busy and usually have queue's outside waiting for a table. When you come inside you notice they have little side plates at the window which you can grab and can be added to your meal. They can consist green fried beans with mince and tofu slices etc.

We ordered the Taiwanese Set Menu Meal for $10 and you basically get Taiwanese Styled mince pork with rice and you can also choose a side dish from the window. The fried chicken pieces are also really tasty here...crunchy and they have almost like a salt and pepper flavour... yum!

Funnily enough there is no dumplings on the menu! Such a shame though as i do love dumplings but the fried chicken made up for it!

Small restaurant and very very busy specially lunch and dinner time. Love the side dish specially pork belly and fried anchovy with cold chinese tea. Price cheap, service is good but place is too small.

Approximate cost: $9
