Christies Beach Hotel

Pretty disappointed with my meal. Chicken parmy was underwhelming. No crispy crumb on the schnitzel and the cheese was barely melted. Very little flavour. Salad was undressed. My hubby enjoyed his beef burger. Seats were really uncomfortable. A bit annoyed we couldn't use the Entertainment voucher. They used covid as an excuse, but the place was pumping and there seemed no reason not to accept these.

It's getting busier and busier here with good food and good atmosphere. They have an endless salad bar and unlimited ice cream for $3.
Good place for lunch or dinner. If lunch, go for the S&S squid or the burgers. But give the mixed grill plate a miss for dinner, it's, not really worth it methinks.

I like it. Nice and open and big.
Serving sizes are generous and they cook a good steak.
There's a salad bar for those who like to pick and choose.

This time we elected to have the $13.90 lunch menu and chose the cajun barrumundi. It was served with chips and salad and was well cooked and presented. Good seating in a pleasant spot and noticed there is an outdoor deck available too. Certainly is better than cooking. Many years have passed since we have been here and it is still great

I decided to go here as my girlfriend lives nearby and said they had very good meals. She was right. We both had the schnitzel, I had it with pepper sauce, the sauce really made my meal taste delicious, it came with chips and I had vegies as well. The chips were cooked perfectly and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the meal, it was very generous. They have quite a large menu at very reasonable prices. We didn't have to wait long for our meals, very fast friendly service.

we had front bar dinner here Friday night, was very good value for $10 main meal, i had salt and pepper squid and hubby had chicken parmi. Both meals came quickly, and were generous serves, there was also a meat raffle going on which was fun as tickets were only $1 and there were a lot of prizes awarded. Had a great time we will be going back there for sure.

Such a nice place to eat. Very child friendly with a play ground just next to the dining room so the kids can play and the parents can sit inside(or outside on the decking)and still be able to have full view of the children. Very large meals , great price and nice salad/veg bar. quick service and friendly staff . The drinks are cheap as well.

Took my family for a meal, and it was great. The dining area was lovely. The staff accommodated my two very young children happily. The meals are great value, quite a large size. I couldn't finish all mine. The steak was cooked to perfection and the Dianne sauce was so yummy. The smorgasboard of salads and hot vegetables made it an all round lovely meal. And the kids got their veggies :-) Great value for money and children friendly enviro meant makes it a great place to dine out as a gamily

A great family meal venue, meal was really nice with a good size serve. Decor is a bit dated but that doesn't effect the food obviously. Service was a little slow but not bad enough to warrant a complaint at all.

if you are looking for 5 star dining you would want to go somewhere else.

probably not ideal fro a romantic first date ether.

but for family's and others looking for good value in basic surroundings it is excellent

Staff are fantastic. Dining room recently re-fitted but still feels a bit old.

Pretty standard pub food, prices depend when you are there - $10 specials for lunch on weekdays include salad bar soup and ice cream, kids free with adult Monday and Tuesday.

The Christies has good pub food at reasonable prices. The dining area is a bit tired looking but the food is fine and the salad bar is interesting. Service is friendly.

The hotel is divided into 3 main areas; there is a dining room, a pokies room and a sports bar area. The main meals come with salad and vegetable bar. There is a lot of variety with the salads and vegetables and it includes gravy. The main meal portions are of a satisfactory size and the meals are usually quite nice. There are different specials each night.
