This is a good place for Yum Cha, but I find it very expensive comparatively. Hence it's only an occasional place for me.
Food is good

Good food, great service! Fantastic yum cha and dim sims! It's worth a visit. The price is acceptable. For the food, I can make a long must-try list. Service has always been good

I've eaten at Citi Zen a few times and have had a mixed experience. The first time, we really enjoyed it and found the service superb - very friendly and efficient. There was once when an order was mixed up and we were given a similar but worng dish. The wine on that occasion too was not right. Food quality twice have been average. It can be busy and it is good if you make advance reservations. Allow an extra 10 minutes to find parking as the CBD can be quite packed with cars.
They have a variety of seating arrangements to cater to couples or large groups.
The price of the food is not cheap, but is worth it on the days the food tastes good.

This restaurant sounds pretty good and I might give it a go when in Adelaide next. If you are out near McLaren Vale give Red Gum a try, delicious food.

We have been on a couple of occasions recently Food quality, selection and service wonderful. They have private functions rooms if you prefer otherwise a large dining area. Great wine selection. However price is not what you expect from a Chinese restaurant- I guess you are also paying for the location of being in the CBD. Parking can be difficult as its street parking only.

This chinese restaurant sounds ok, but if you really want some great chinese food, try the Red Gum in Mclaren Vale. I have never been disappointed.

Citizen is very close to where I live but I barely go there. The restaurant is big and beautiful. but the food all taste the same. We went there with 4 work mates and ordered one dish each to share, that's 6 dishes in total, and we all feel it tasted the same. the soups were good though

The food here is delicious, but the last time I came here was New year eve, and we ordered the duck banquet. One whole duck was brought to our table , the waitress cut off peking duck slices for our wraps, then brought the remaining duck inside to make the noodles and fried rice... the portion of duck in the noodles and rice was disappointing! Clearly we got jipped and we didn't get the whole duck...... other than that, the food was great.. service could be better,,

Approximate cost: $20

Came here for with a large group of people (30 plus) for a birthday dinner. They catered for our large group extremely well, with 8-10 people seated at each table. The interior design is immaculate and the endless number of dishes they brought out were all well presented and very delicious. Staff were very polite and very professional. Would definitely come back!

i made a booking for a group of 10 for my birthday. i had two entertainment cards. we ordered the duck set (peking duck and duck fried rice and duck soup over three courses) - at all restaurants, they use the entire dog over the three courses, however, we can all tell that only half the duck was used. the amount of duck in the fried rice was very little. we paid for the full duck but only got half the duck. when it came to paying, i gave them my entertainment cards and the waitress rudely said to me that i can only use one. umm, no, the rules of the entertainment card, i can use up to three cards if there are minimum 6people. i asked her to go ask her manager, and she came back to say it was "OK". i wasn't very happy with the service.

Approximate cost: $15
