Great place, really good for food and desserts,
the coffee is alright as well. would give it an 8/10.

We came here for lunch as we were really hungry and this was close. The menus and staff uniforms look cool in the newspaper print.

I was disappointed with the lack of choices for gluten free but we were hungry so didn't want to relocate. The meals were reasonably quick and they were tasty (or maybe more so because we were so hungry) but the prices were expensive so they weren't very good value.

I'd choose somewhere else if I was in this area again.

This is an awesome 2 level cafe located at Circular Quay, they are open 24/7 but are still high quality even in the early hours of the morning. The staff are super friendly and the view from the top level is incredible. I love the fish and chips, very fresh and the chips are very crunchy. Make sure to leave room for the desserts though, they are to die for!

It had been a few years since my last visit to City Extra but the memory of their tiramisu was calling and hey, it was afternoon tea time, after all.

I will never forget my first tiramisu here at City Extra (yum!) but I also remember my second one here (it did NOT live up to the memory). I took the punt after reading their reasonably-priced dessert menu and ordered the tiramisu again. Now I remember why I was disappointed the second time...I had shared it with my husband and it was tiny (we need the opposite of the CAPS LOCK here, people!!) Okay, so it's not that tiny but for the price paid, and considering you are sitting here looking at the Sydney Harbour Bridge while you eat it, you'd like a little more bang for your buck!! Thankfully this time I was only sharing with a two year old who was happy just to get my soggy choc wafer tube (and I didn't miss that flaccid bickie anyway!) My husband was dining with us, however, and he was none too pleased to discover my milkshake and tiny-misu cost just under $20. I pointed out that his coffee cost almost as much as my milkshake so I argued I at least made a better choice from the drink menu than he. His scones with jam and cream were a pretty large serving, however I could recommend some places at The Rocks if it's Devonshire Tea you're after!

The tiramisu was nice enough but I've had heaps better and I've cooked heaps better and with substance, too.

Still, there were a few items on that dessert menu that really tempted me. I just must must must remember next time to lay that tiramisu to rest and get me a pavlova instead!

City Extra serves nice breakfast and other hot meals, as well as desserts 24 hours, 7 days a week. I love going there for lunch, sitting upstairs near the window, overlooking the busy Circular Quay area. They have an area sitting outside as well for the customers to soak up the sun. I like ordering the chicken crepe with salad and my sister loves the big breakfast. The portion size is quite huge. I also like how their menu is printed and presented in a newspaper format. The wait staff are friendly as well.

Great view, and cute diner. I like coming here for the novelty value. Lots and lots of options, but the food is quite pricey and the quality isn't great.

Fun with friends late at night, but not somewhere to go for a special occasion!

Approximate cost: $25

A great place to go for a relaxing meal. A fun venue for friends and family and a convenient spot- right next to the harbour! It is also open 24/7. The prices are very reasonable and the food is great!

I came here and bought a Veggie Burger. It comes with a small serving of chips on the side. The Burger itself contained some lettuce, tomato, beetroot and a lentil patty. The inside of the burger tasted good, but I didn't eat the bread of the burger. I thought it was too much bread for the filling. The chips came with a generous serving of tomato sauce. I waited less than 10 minutes for the food, and the service was excellent by the waitresses.

However, the prices are expensive. The dish usually costs $20. However, I paid $10 because I had an Entertainment book voucher. I wouldn't normally go there without the voucher because I don't think the dish is worth $20.

Approximate cost: $20

I ordered winter special menu. The price was quite good
(if I compare with other restaurants which is located at Circular quay) and it was also good to see night view.
But the taste was cut and dry...
