Nice friendly staff, who are very helpful and mostly very experienced. Queues can be very long, especially later in the week. Handy ATMs outside and very good location, near tram and train

Often have used the ATM outside this branch and there is no money left as this ATM get's used sooo much. Very annoying when they often run out of cash and I have to go to Coburg commonwealth or the one at the other end of Sydney Rd in Brunswick to avoid being charged. Service inside is often fairly slow and poor.

Did our banking with the Commonwealth for a few years and decided it just wasnt worth it. Long queues sometimes out the front door, great if you are in your lunch hour. Horrendous charges! A blank stare when we approached them for a loan, they were laughing on the inside, just didnt care. We decided to cancel all dealings with them, and we were pretty astonished when the teller told us what a terrible mistake we were making and we would never get better deals. Well we've got news for them, shopped around and found the smaller credit unions marvellous, they even know our names when we go in, we never ever wait, the charges are minimal and they tell you what they will be, they are friendly, very helpful, professional and at the same time just regular folk.
