There are a few great burger joints in Moorabbin, but as far as quality an quantity goes this is the best by far.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Easy location to get to and enough parking. Burgers were delicious and left us all very full and satisfied!

Cool Bean Kitchen has new owners and has been renovated. They now serve one of Melbourne's best burgers and shakes. Highly recommend going here if you are in the area. Looks a lot more modern that pictures seen and have a completely different menu.

top quality food. taste and flavours are awesome. I have eaten from plenty of 'cafe' type joints but this place is restaurant quality at café prices. if you are in the area you have to visit just for the experience

First visit today and couldn't be more impressed! Smoked Pork sub is to die for and beef burger melts in the mouth. Lovely to speak with Danny about his passion for food, can't wait to go back!

This place is fantastic. We stop in here for lunch very frequently. The ribs and sweet potato mash is my favourite. Service is fantastic. thanks guys :)

Best Pulled Pork Roll in town. Do yourself a favour and get down and try this place out. They serve up what real food should be like.

Amazing food cooked in front of you and fantastic prices. Absolutely love coming here!! Would definitely come here every day if I could. I am also going to use these guys for my wedding!

As soon as you walk through the door, you are greatly with a warm smile. Delicious healthy food at a great price. The only thing I can fault is that they don't have naughty take away food and sometimes you just feel like having a little grease with your food. Their coffee is great also.

Pulled pork and brisket rolls are absolutely amazing! Unbelievable value as well. Have just stumbled across this cafe and can see myself becoming a regular. Highly recommend. Have told 2 friends to visit and they both enjoyed it as much as I did

Easily the most friendly and approachable staff/owners of a cafe I have ever come across. I look forward to walking down there for my afternoon coffee every week because I know I will be greeted by such welcoming faces who recognise and chat with me each time. I wouldn't go for my coffee hit anywhere else in this area! And their muffins taste DELICIOUS!

Cool Bean Kitchen is the best lunch destination in this area without doubt. The variety of meals on a daily basis is phenomenal. You can travel to any country and experience their food without leaving Moorabbin. Made with great expertise and freshness guaranteed it is a must to eat here. A great atmosphere with plenty of choice and very reasonable prices. Daily specials and deserts a plenty are just part of their menu. I would recommend Cool Bean Kitchen to anyone.

Cool Bean Kitchen is my lunch destination on most working days, Monday to Friday. The food is always fresh and delicious. Danny, the owner, makes everything on the menu himself. I love his Indian curries, the pulled pork sub roll and the steak sandwich. Nothing is ever a hassle for him, all you have to do is asked (nicely).
Although service can be a bit slow at times though.

Danny is a British chef, who runs the Cool Bean Kitchen at 614, South Rd in Moorabbin and also provides catering services with his wife, Emma.
Danny has catered for five lunches for us with up to 40 guests. These have been for business and private purposes. Together, Emma and Danny arrive about 2-2 ½ hours ahead of the function with food largely prepared. Final cooking and finishing touches have been completed in my kitchen.
Danny has been very easy to work with. He has hired cutlery, crockery, glasses and linen for us. He has been willing to work within our budget, has provided a proposed menu for discussion ahead of the function and catered well for all dietary needs. Emma's eyes for detail and presentation have enhanced the occasions.
We have requested both finger foods and buffet styles lunches. Here are some of the dishes we have enjoyed.
Canapés/Nibbles
• Slow confit of duck scented with aromatics, pressed & served on an orange infused croustade
• Lime scented prawns in wanton pastry with a warming sugar syrup
• Puff pastry with roasted apples, ginger & onion compote
• Glazed Turkish bread with hummus and pumpkin & orange dips, chicken liver pate
• Roast spiced mixed nuts
Mains
• Slow roast pork belly, carrot & ginger emulsion, parisienne potatoes and apple jus
• Slow roast pork loin, candied apple & rosemary crust
• Braised turkey & eggplant cannelloni, roast turkey breast, duchess potato and honey jasmine jus
• Roasted Turkey Ballantine with baked chestnuts brandy soaked prunes
Desserts
• Christmas Rice
• Glazed rice pudding with toasted Italian meringue
• Twice baked dark chocolate fondant with brandy cream
• Raspberry macaroons & fresh berries
Danny has removed all waste but we found the left overs in our fridge to enjoy later.
