Our fridge needed repair. Craig arrived promptly on the same day and quickly located and repaired the fault. It was a pleasure to chat with him as he undertook the work and we will definitely call him the next time the need arises!

Intermittent fault on 7 year old washing machine front loader. They gave me tips over the phone, checked and cleaned out pump guard and check inside whole machine in less than 1 hour. Very pleasant helpful chaps.

Based on the positive feedback on WOMOW we contacted Corkhills when our washing machine broke down. We've got two small kids and were in the midst of toilet training so you can imagine that our need was urgent. To our delight they came out to the house immediately. Whilst the machine was not repairable we were delighted with the level of service and objective advice that they provided. We've now got their fridge magnet on our fridge and will be ringing them straight away if we have any more appliance failures.

Craig and Dave from Corkhills repaired my washing machine and bought me a new dryer to replace mine which died! As a mum of 6 small kids I was so relived to have same day service. They even loaned me a second hand part to get my washing machine operational whilst I waited for the new part to arrive. They offered to pick up a new dryer I ordered and then delivered it within the hour - Dave said he didn't want me to get too behind on washing for a large family! Amazing! He even unpacked it and took away the box and packaging! I cannot recommend these guys enough - old fashioned service.

I have had work done by Corkhills for over 20 years. They have fixed all my major appliances - dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine. They are prompt and always arrive when they say they will(unlike other tradies I've waited around all day for and then they haven't shown up). They give good advice about the cost of fixing versus replacement and I like that they will fix things if possible. My son bought a refurbished washing machine from them and has had no problems with it. They tidy up after themselves and are good value for money.

Refrigerator door seal was replaced, as the previous seal (previously replaced by a different company) had not lasted long. The replacement seal appears to be a more flexible seal and is the same colour as the original. I contacted the copany's office using their online instructions. The office replied quickly, arranged to order the replacement seal without an advance payment, called back to arrange a time to install the seal, arrived on time and left a clean job. The installer asked to borrow a hair dryer at one stage. The cost included a call-out fee, fee for time, and cost of the seal. Recommended.

Attended on time within 24 hours for a non-urgent call. Diagnosed problem with a dryer and solved it quickly as well as dealing with a leaking washing machine. Efficient, prompt, and friendly service as well as giving advice. All of this was at a very reasonable cost. We took extra business cards for our neighbours because we were really impressed with Dave's service.

I had these guys sent out on a Warranty service for a Fridge repair. They came, looked at the fridge and thoroughly investigated the problem, were also very personable. Talked to me about what the possible problems could be and the solution. They came back, installed everything and again, were very friendly and polite and very clean.
