I would not recommend this company at all! Their set-up of my Xero file was fraught mistakes and lacked attention to detail and was done in haste. I was told on first meeting that [redacted name] and one of her staff would take care of my account - it turned out that 5 staff, some more qualified than others had access too and were 'keeping' my books - quite poorly I might add and an invasion of my privacy. They sent numerous invoices to me that were not in our initial agreement and 3 of these I received twice due to their errors lack of diligence. For bookkeepers, this was unacceptable to me. The amount of time I spent checking up on them and re-entering client details accurately amongst other things was apalling. I felt as though I had been ripped off (they are quite expensive too). Thank goodness after less than one month, I found another bookkeeper whom I can trust and has taken the 'paperwork' side of my business out of my hands so that I can focus on building my business. Barbara and her team make sense of your business!!! Always happy to answer or help solve an issue you might have with you business. They got me onto Xero software and it has been the best thing that I have done for my business. There knowledge is invaluable and I feel they have empowered me to be a better business owner.

- Clearly had expertise (demonstrated to me by you making suggestions to improve our processes in the initial call - e.g. better way to enter invoices)
- Willing to work on the file very regularly
- Knowledge of technology (a lot of bookkeepers are behind the times in my opinion, and your suggestion of using Receipt Bank demonstrated that you took that kind of thing seriously - a big plus)
- Quick proposal time (your competitors all took at least 3-4 days longer than you to get me a proposal - this showed me you were organised)
