Not only does she have a refined aesthetic sense, but she is very good at understanding her client's style and adjusting her assistance to suit. In addition to her talents with interior design, she is also very good at spatial design which is helpful with floorplan and furniture layouts.

Angela shines again when it comes to project management and organisation. We did not have the time to pour over multiple options in many cases so we depended on Angela to curate a short list of choices. Like her work in all areas, she was prompt and highly organised in her presentations and preparations which was a significant help to the successful and timely completion of our project. Her experience with several different types of projects enables her to effectively guide her clients in multiple aspects of design and building whether she's the lead or working with a builder.

We recently engaged Angela Cosgrove of Creative Elegance Interiors Pty Ltd to act as project co-ordinator for our renovation – best move we ever made.

From first contact, the renovation process that seemingly becomes many people’s worst nightmare was handled professionally, with a high degree of skill, care and meticulous co-ordination.

Angela’s work is first class and her designs and execution resulted in a project that went incredibly smoothly, even through the unique challenges of significant Covid disruptions.

From the outset Angela listened and understood our wishes, guided our thoughts around design elements that would work and those that wouldn’t, provided innovative and exciting ideas to complement our own – and then captured this in a hugely detailed project plan.

Once agreed, the plan became our blue-print for the project and stepped us (and the tradies) through each stage in an organised and co-ordinated manner.
The plan involved key dates for selection of products (tiles, colours, vanity’s, tapware, fans, lights, carpets etc) with Angela attending wherever needed to assist our shopping and selection – whilst taking advantage of her access to trade discounts which resulted in some considerable savings on products. The detailed schedule / itinerary set out at our front door provided explicit daily instructions for all trades, stipulating focuses for their work (in order of priority) and timelines for completion.

Angela’s selection of tradespeople was a perfect fit for our requirements. All were excellent, produced high quality work and most importantly were completely respectful of our family of five still living (and some working) in the house over the course of the three month renovation. Stages of renovation were carefully managed to ensure continuing access to a bathroom and other key areas of the house. As one trade finished, the next was immediately on hand to commence the next phase. As tradies could be heard dealing with issues on their other jobs, many of them commented ”not all jobs run as smoothly as Angela’s”. The teams of tilers, plumbers, builders, electricians, joiners and plasterers seemed to work seamlessly together and had a great rapport, having clearly worked together on other jobs with Angela. Angela’s attention to detail and knowledge of each of the trades was impressive, guiding them in considerations to be made, tasks to be completed and providing strategies and ideas to resolve any issues as they arose. She was also quick to roll up her sleeves and help out with many aspects of the renovation – from taking down blinds, putting up brackets / light fittings, removing carpet or furniture, carting tiles, applying floor and wall protective covers, disposing of waste and lots of other general clean-up tasks.
Angela was also quick to point out any imperfections, to insist on rework and was very diligent in final inspection and assessment of all work.

All in all, we are left very pleased and content with what was a perfectly managed project. Angela’s ideas and designs were creative, elegant and highly practical. She was great to work with, seemed highly respected and admired by all the tradies for her abilities and produced a fantastic result for our home.

My wife and I have built several new homes in the past but recently decided to buy an existing property in Sherbrooke that would benefit from a renovation. The property was constructed in the late 1940s and sits in a large established European style garden.

The process of renovating an older property presented us with several challenges. Our thoughts were to renovate the existing kitchen, bathroom and laundry; build an additional bathroom and rejuvenate the entire interior and exterior of the property. This including the reconfiguration of several rooms, finding quality trades persons to undertake the work, and the formulation of an interior design scheme that complimented the house but also reflected our tastes, which are contemporary. Quite a challenge!

We undertook a search for an interior designer/project manager that could advise and guide us through this process and decided that we would meet with Angela Cosgrove from Creative Elegance Interiors.

It was during our first meeting with Angela that we decided that she would be perfect for the role. Once we had described our thoughts for the property, and during a subsequent visit to the property, Angela was able to formulate a vision that encapsulated what we were seeking to achieve. She has the rare ability to quickly and accurately formulate a vision that maximises the potential of a property. Several of Angela’s ideas such as the creation of a butler’s pantry where a small powder room was located, and the creation of a study and enlarged laundry space along with the opening up of two room were excellent.

Her approach during the entire planning and construction stages was outstanding. From the beginning of the process Angela worked closely with us to finalise the changes to the floor plan, materials and finishes along with the formulation of a budget that ensured that the costs involved in each stage of the built were clear and affordable for us. We very much appreciated Angela’s willingness and ability to find cost effective solutions for us.

Angela approached all stages of the renovation in a highly considered, efficient and supportive manner. She was keen to ensure that each process of the renovation went smoothly, with the highest quality finishes in the time frame specified. Angela’s ability to formulate a palate of colours and materials that reflected our tastes but also respect the property is outstanding. The end result far exceeded our expectations before we commenced the renovation process.

We found Angela to be an excellent communicator keeping ourselves and the trades very well informed during each stage of the renovation. The trades persons she engages are professional and the quality of their work is 1st class.

The end result is a home that is stunning. It is without question the most comfortable and stylish property we have owned. She is a gifted professional who works efficiently and effectively with integrity.

Finally, it is worth noting that Angela is extremely easy to work with. She is genuinely friendly, caring and supportive. In many ways she was more like a friend and now the renovation is completed, miss our conversations with her.

We used Angela Cosgrove of Creative Elegance Interiors for major renovations of our house to make it a home. Our dream was to make a larger kitchen, install floorboards throughout entrance, kitchen and family room, convert a study into a guest bedroom with an ensuite, update the laundry and install a gas fireplace in the formal lounge room – in other words, all the ground floor of our double storey home, without changing the external walls. Her creative flair and practical design was evident right from the beginning of a walk through. Angela was amazing and made it happen. She worked on the design concepts and project managed the renovations. Angela soon worked out my style – touches of Hamptons/Classical, and encouraged me to be a little daring rather than playing safe. Angela has a reliable team of tradies who communicate and coordinate well with each other. Due to Angela’s fabulous timeline, our project ran pretty much on time – even with a few extra jobs that needed to be done. Her estimates were accurate and she communicated regularly with us of the progress and the time frame of things we needed to do to assist.

We are so pleased with our beautiful home and would recommend Angela to anyone is time poor but likes to know the details and needs encouragement to look at a design with new eyes.

Our renovation was divided into stages for various reasons, but the main ones being that we would be living upstairs and working from home 3 days a week.

Stage 1 involved erecting a pitch roof over the alfresco area. Stage 2 – renovating the complete bottom floor which included kitchen, dining, living, family room, main bedroom, ensuite, powder room and laundry. Timeline for stage 2 was 9 weeks with an end date of December, 21st.
You soon realise after working with Angela, that her project timeline is very strictly adhered to and never a doubt that it will be delivered on time. Which it was - truly amazing!

The team of trades which Angela employs are all very professional, great work ethic and skills, worked well together especially during the final weeks when we had a few “The Block” days with many trades being onsite at the same time trying to finish their work around each other.
All the trades were very considerate knowing that we were living upstairs and always cleaned up at the end of their day. Living at the end of a court, the parking was always a challenge and all the trades were very mindful of the limited parking space and the neighbours.

We met Angela after reviewing her previous work and the many reviews she had. Our house was in need of an internal renovation and we didn’t have a lot of experience with large scale renovations. We initially engaged Angela to help us with floorplan options, timing and costs but we continued to use her services past the interior design and into project management for our stage 1 renovation which involved kitchen, dining, living, storage and replacement of all external doors and windows. We both worked full time and without Angela’s management of the quoting process, the timeline development and then the active management of the schedule with each of the trades we would never have achieved what we did in 10 weeks. Each of the trades that Angela recommended were great, especially as we were still living in the house with our two children and dog. All of them were very accommodating and respectful even early in the morning when they just wanted to get working. Overall Angela provided great ideas and suggestions to better our original plans but she was also aware enough to know when things were really important to us and helped incorporate. She runs a tight ship to ensure everything got delivered on time and only a little over budget. We couldn’t recommend her more highly to get your project completed and we will be back for help for stage 2.

Angela and her extended team have delivered a really modern and functional space for us. Our kitchen, meals and lounge was a bit out of date and we wanted to move from a country feel to a modern sleek look but still practical with a dedicated space for an office, entertaining and a more inviting lounge. We got it.
We felt that a key strength of Angela and her team was their ability to brainstorm and generate ideas for the design, to describe them clearly to us and take us along on that journey so that we were able to trust their vision.
Their design ideas were great and everything flows through into other spaces that may or may not be part of the renovation. Angela also keeps in mind other parts of the house and style so things don’t look out of place. Angela was happy to offer her ideas/feedback if we had questions about different parts of our house and was still offering this even after the project was finished.
Her ability to co-ordinate all the trades and when they were needed was impressive as there was so much going on. She was able to re-organise things when there was a delay or change in order of build. Importantly, her selection and relationship with her team meant that when there were unexpected changes or challenges, the team reacted in a really positive way to ensure that they were dealt with without fuss and with a view of minimising impact for us.
Overall – our whole family is really enjoying our new living space.

Angela provided fantastic management of the project (bathroom, ensuite, laundry and powder room) from "go to whoa". The project was delivered on time and within our budget expectations. The quality of the work was outstanding and if any minor issues surfaced they were dealt with quickly.

We have just completed a large renovation in our home in Patterson Lakes. We had been wanting to do this for several years but the project just seemed too daunting as we knew we needed guidance to steer the project both with design and with actual trades but we didnt have the skills in either area. We engaged Angela and her team based on these raving reviews, so we wanted to add another great review.

Our project may have seemed small (laundry renovation and garden studio renovation), but since it was in an old house it was not an easy task. Angela did a great job coordinating all her 'boys' (her term for highly qualified and tested and trusted traders) around the needs of our young family. What could have been 3 months of complicated planning and discussions, turned out to be just 1 month of observing Angela's smooth project management and her team working hand-in-hand like clockwork.

Some specific examples might illustrate best what we mean: The works were coordinated around the needs of a 6 month old baby, and we were always given the heads up before noisy work etc. so we could escape the house. Despite the heat, the team was happy to wait until 8 or 9 am before they started.
There were a number of unexpected changes along the way due to the old nature of the house (e.g. the heating could not be installed as planned), but they found a good alternative solution. There were at times 4 different trades working away, all coordinated by Angela who was always around to check on their work, and get her hands dirty helping to speed things up.

The only downside of the project was maybe the amazing speed at which all proceeded, and which tested our ability to make decisions and get organised. Next time we engage them (and we will!), we will make sure we have all decisions about knobs and cabinets made upfront, to help the team progress as fast as they can.

Angela was incredibly responsive (many emails sent at 11 pm, and she was back on deck early in the morning), and generous with her ideas, tips and helping out. She picked up a broom and cloth to made sure that the space was left tidy, and helped me take pictures of the old windows so I could sell them on ebay. She helped us perfectly hang a huge picture in the newly refurbished space on Christmas Eve (when she had certainly many other things waiting for her at home)! And she was even happy to look after our baby while we were discussing things with the tradies.

The project management fee may seem pricey at first glance, but we got peace of mind and a fast and smooth renovation project in return, while (almost) continuing to live our normal lives, which is worth a lot.

We had purchased a 40 year old house in Mount Eliza that needed an update so that it felt like ours.We had some ideas but really didn't know where to start. Angela was recommended to us and after making that 1st phone call we met at a local Cafe to talk ideas. The more we talked the more I saw my husband's shoulders lift, body language was saying, this sounds like what/who we are looking for to do our project. 3 hours later we walked out of the Cafe with a plan.

To say we put ourselves under pressure is an understatement, we were leaving in a few days time for 10 weeks overseas! A phone call to our tenants for Angela to have a look through the house and she was on to it. Ideas, plans, shopping for fittings and many many emails, texts and phone calls.
Angela set to work on her time line, getting quotes from all trades and regularly sending me ideas. All this while we were on the other side of the world. Angela sets up a time line for payment of all trades, so right from the beginning you know who and how much needs to be paid each week.

When the works started Angela was there everyday, making sure the plans were being followed and work done to the high standard she sets There were several times along the way, she came across problems we had not forseen, but with phone calls she talked us through to a good result.

Angela was always available, approachable and reasonable and worked very hard to see her vision for a great result through to the end. She communicated constantly and kept us informed through every day. She has a brilliant eye for colour and design. I had requested a Hampton's look and Angela was excellent at keeping me on track. It saved hours of time, as we kept to a theme, so narrowed down choices.

She has a great team of trades, they were all hard workers, respectful, approachable and each have a great work ethic. Their quality of work was excellent. If there was any problems a word or email to Angela, she talked to them and problems were dealt with.

Angela is very proud of her time line. It went up on the wall the day before works started and it was strictly adhered to, sometimes alterations were necessary and juggling was done. We might have compromised the time line slightly when, well into the reno we decided every window needed to be replaced. Angela managed this well and we are so pleased we went ahead. Towards the end there were a few late nights and I brought down coffee and chocolate! Project was completed on time and we were able to move in on the day originally planned. The plumber and electrician have needed to come back to attend to a few matters but nothing that stopped us from being there.

We did spend more money than we had budgeted. In saying this we have ended up with a beautifully renovated home because Angela encouraged us to see a bigger picture, than just a new bathroom, kitchen etc.

We would recommend Angela and her team of Trades, thank you for your vision, professionalism, and enthusiastically taking us on the journey with you.

Angela's ideas were creative, modern and clever! Throughout the process we felt very comfortable that our needs were being taken on board and loved the solutions Angela was able to propose for our storage concerns. We had previously used Angela to update the flooring in the house. When we decided to renovate our ensuite she was the first person I called. After the initial consultation she understood the vision we had for the space. Two weeks after the design was agreed demolition commenced. Her attention to detail works well with my perfectionist traits. The ability to make slight variations during the construction phase was invaluable. All of her tradesman work to an extremely high standard. The project is now finished and the initial vision has come to life. We love the walk in shower and the custom vanity; the tile selection with the border tile is a feature that makes the room look high end. I would recommend Angela and her team without a second thought. Now the planning starts for the new project.

After much deliberation of whether to renovate or sell, we came across Angela Cosgrove in January 2016. Little did we know (once I made my first phone call to her) just how much impact she had in helping us make the right decision to stay where we love, and renovate our very 80s home.

From the moment Angela stepped foot in our home, her warmth, expertise and understanding of our needs was evident.

Angela's follow up report and recommendations was prompt and her attention to detail displayed was second to none. After much to-ing and fro-ing our reno finally commenced in September 2016 and we are delighted with the end result (which was completed on time and as specified by her before works even started).

I guess we all think a home renovation is going to be a nightmare, especially when you decide to stay, with the dog, while it is all going on.
Well my experience with Creative Elegance Interiors and Angela Cosgrove could not have been better.
As I have no vision for what “could be” I would not have ended up with the amazing place I have today.
Starting with a tired outdated home, I now feel like I am walking into a new one each day.
Angela took in the things that I like, mainly Asian style, and incorporated that with a modern, comfortable and practical space. Her attention to detail and totally hands on approach were amazing.
Including cleaning, filling skips, staining timber. Whatever was needed she would do. On site everyday to make sure all went well. The timeline she set was exact , we finished on the date, even given some unexpected problems along the way.
As I was living here, it was done in 2 stages to make sure I always had a workable place to live in. The tradesmen were first class, friendly and so obliging, always making sure that the place was clean and set up for me each night, moving furniture etc.
I could not recommend Angela and the team highly enough.

We engaged Angela Cosgrove from Creative Elegance Interiors to provide design and project management services in support of the renovation of our 3 bedroom home. By way of background, the house is a double brick, double storey, semi-detached house (built circa 1938). Whilst it had an extension built at the back and some minor works over the years it was in real need of updating and making it more livable for a young family.

As a working couple with an eight year old son, we were very apprehensive about embarking on such a full scale renovation project, which pretty much involves every part of the house! This quickly started turning to real fear after speaking with friends about their renovation experiences and also after having spoken to a couple of other design and project management consultants.

Thankfully all of this changed after the first couple of conversations with Angela. In fact that fear and apprehension faded away after the first meeting in which she spent considerable time understanding our needs and priorities as well as our budget and timelines. From that point on selecting her over other design and project management consultants was a 'no brainer' for my husband and I.

Angela was very thorough in the planning and setup phase and made sure we were fully engaged and informed every step of the way. In addition to drawing up the project requirements in detail as well as the project plan, she took the time to fully explain every part of the planning phase as well as the project itself. Her design ideas and suggestions were very innovative yet took into account our budget constraints. For example, one of our key requirements was for there to be an ensuite constructed for the upstairs master bedroom. Angela was able to visualise it and presented us with the options of how this space could be created by way of taking some of the Master Bedroom space and taking some of our son's closet space from the adjacent bedroom in order to minimise the overall impact on the Master Bedroom size and layout. We are very pleased with the outcome. Another example was our desire to have a concealed laundry instead of having it within the powder room. Once again she was able to design an innovative solution for this. She also presented us with other ideas and suggestions in this planning phase to enable us to review and co-create the space and layouts with her.

That said, there was also a healthy level of tension and debate between us and Angela as to the design and layout of the areas which we very much appreciated. For example we were initially looking for a very modern finish but Angela very quickly pointed out that this would not suit the heritage of the property and will clash with the character of the property. We were very grateful for this advice and are very pleased with that advice early on as it helped us review our preferences for finishes. Her ability to visualise a space and provide constructive advice and options on style, practicality and function is second to none.

Once the project commenced, it all went like clockwork. Her team of tradies are very pleasant to deal with and kept with the plan. They worked very effectively as a team and communicated very clearly with both Angela and I throughout the project. Looking at the finished work, I can also comment very favorably on the quality of the workmanship and attention the detail. The plastering work, mouldings, painting, wood flooring, tiling and joinery all look beautiful and matches our requirements to the tee. The electrical and plumbing works (which were quite extensive) were all done to complement the space and finished off in a very tidy manner.

That said, no home renovation project would be complete without variations and we had our fair share of variations too. As our place was old and had little done to it over the years, we did come up with several variations as new things were discovered as part of the demolition works. The difference that Angela brought to the equation was that she explained it all to us clearly and in a timely manner as these arose and offered us options whilst taking into account our budget and timelines. This made the decision making process from our end less stressful and easier. That said the variations did not amount to a substantial sum and all were either unforeseeable or changes requested by us based on advice and options from Angela.

In summing up, some of my key observations of Angela at Creative Elegance Interiors, hoping this would be useful to others who are looking to renovate -

- Extremely hardworking and very engaged to get the project thoroughly planned and undertaken to meet the project plan
- Hands-on. She doesn't just update project plans and attend the worksite to inspect and check on progress. Instead she gets her hands dirty to keep the project on time. On a number of occasions I was there, Angela was hacking away at walls and carting materials to the skip- not something most design consultants and project managers would be wiling to do
- Strong communicator, able to simplify complex matters and cut past the tradie lingo to give me plain and simple options and a good understanding of the project progress
- Passionate about helping me realise the potential of my property by sharing with me ideas and suggestions whilst also challenging me along the way to ensure i get the best outcome for my home
- Committed to the project, ie I felt I could fully rely on Angela to ensure all works are done according to the plan and intended sequence to minimise delays and avoid unnecessary cost overruns. In fact she was so committed to the extent of even spending her Saturday unpacking boxes and helping me with my move once the project was completed!

I would not hesitate recommending Angela and her team to any of my family and friends. We are very pleased with our renovated home and look forward to enjoying the new space in the years ahead.

Thanks to Angela, things have gone so smoothly and her advice was extremely valuable. She kept me up to date daily of the coming and goings of her contractors and they also always let me know when they were due to arrive and were always punctual, professional and produced fantastic results. I contacted Angela to get some advice on colour palettes for our outdoor area and the exterior of our house. I was extremely impressed with Angela's knowledge and understanding of my requirements. Where do you start writing a reference for Angela Cosgrove of Creative Elegance Interiors Pty Ltd?

Finding Angela was like winning Lotto. By extreme luck we happened upon her website and on reading the glowing reviews were prompted to give her a call. We were sceptical that they could all be that good, but being new in the area and not having the benefit from word of mouth recommendations or even knowing any tradespeople in the area, we were entering a world that all came down to luck, and as chance has it we were indeed lucky.

Having mulled over what we required and how we perceived achieving it, we had our first visit from Angela. From that moment on, we realized we had struck gold, and we had been living with a very limited idea of what was possible, Angela proceeded to trot out suggestions and ideas that would never have entered our heads, her suggestions evolved into a much more realistic and workable floor plan than we had ever envisaged at the start.

Then came the finer details of materials and colour schemes, here again Angela produced ideas for
us to consider and led us through all the options best suited for our project, producing ideas and examples of how everything would blend together to give us a modern look in a Heritage style house without damaging its integrity.

On our deciding to proceed with the project, Angela prepared a very detailed schedule of works for us, including a flow chart of the daily activities of the various trades people over the estimated 9 weeks of the work, along with their quotes and payment schedules. Details of various suggested suppliers were included along with examples of some of her previous projects to give us some prospective on what was achievable.

We will tell you here and now that the trades people she introduced to us, all had an extraordinary work ethic, skills and an ability to work together without tension, they were always pleasant and very considerate to our needs while we tried to carry on living in the shell of our home, they would stay back to complete any tasks so as not to impose on the next day's schedule. Angela oversaw all the work herself and was on site most days and could often be seen unloading a load of timber or installing insulation in the walls herself, she was always available to us to answer any concerns that may have arisen and to ply us with suggestions of where to source appliances or items of furniture at the best possible prices, overall she must have saved us thousands whilst making no gain for herself.

The main work was all completed on time, to the day as promised, the only exceptions being where
we ourselves had requested additional work whilst we had the tradespeople on site or we had deviated from the original plan.

We have now ended up with a beautiful home and can only thank Angela for making it possible. We have no hesitation in recommending Angela and her team and wishing them well for continuing success in the future and we now join the growing band of her happy and satisfied clients.

After many years of talking about creating an open plan modern/industrial dream kitchen, we met Angela Cosgrove.

Within weeks Angela had come to our home to discuss our ideas, requirements. Ours being an older home, we had many concerns regarding structural issues that would only appear once work began (opening up that so called can of worms!)

Angela quickly developed and provided us with an estimated project budget/plan and we were on our way!
