Had my hair done here for the first time the other day. Great salon and very friendly staff who all go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. Shampoo and head massage are a nice little luxury and the products used are good quality.
I wasn't completely happy with my hair after the visit but my hairdresser scheduled me back in fixed it right up at no added cost.
I am very happy with my hair and the service provided - I would recommend this salon to anyone.

I love this Salon. I have been going for 2 years now and every time I have a lovely time and feel so pampered. Sky is my hair dresser and she plus all the team are fantastic and really helpful. One time I went from red to blond and it was so much work. Afterwards my hair felt really dry and I was worried so I called the team at Crysalis and they got me in within the week for a review and a treatment. Gave me a hair comb for free and good advice. Now my hair is feeling really healthy again. Best salon I have ever been to.

I went there today after reading reviews on here, to get a cut and half a head of foils and it was such a great experience. Starting off with the blue temple, ear and neck massage really put the experience off on the right foot..it was so relaxing! The hairdresser I had, Marianne, was so lovely and chatty and was very good at listening to what I wanted. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and like another reviewer has said, a real treat!

I have been going to Crysalis for 4 years now, when I first arrived my long blonde hair was dry and falling out, now its healthy and strong. Sky and the team have been nothing but kind and extremely helpful in restoring my hair - plus it is the cheapest I have EVER paid in the Newcastle - Junction - Cooks Hill area. The experience is so relaxing with the blue oil treatment and head massage as soon as you sit-down with endless cups of coffee, tea and water. I have never ever left disappointed and I'm sure if for what ever reason I was not happy they would be more than happy to rectify the situation. I always book 3 months in advance to avoid disappointment because they are busy - that generally happens alot of people walk out the door satisfied.

Do not BOTHER going UNLESS your one of the BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE . These people could not even refit me for a appointment for over a week (PLEASE ) For a basic hair cut thats how keen they are to take care of their customers ! and if you don't fit their MODEL of a client they VERY QUICKLY let you know it. So unless your LOADED and a bit conceded dont bother going there look for somewhere more down to EARTH .
The most uncomfortable embarrassing experience EVER- GUYS FORGET IT !!!

Had the worst salon experience ever at this place. Definatley the worst cut ive ever had!!!

The hairdresser didnt seem to care at all when i told her it was way too short and insisted she only cut off one centimetre. This was really frustrating as i know my own hair and she clearly cut much much more. Overall this was a very disappointing experience and i would never ever go back or recommend anyone to go here. My friends and family were all shocked when they saw my hair. It was basically your worst nightmare experience at a hairdresser. going to have to wear a hat or something for the next month till it grows out a bit. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
