I've really enjoyed my experiences going here. It's on par with the rest as far as prices but it's quite interesting. It does stand out from just another wildlife park.

A nice place to visit for both locals and holiday makers. Lots of wild life to see and there's a animal hospital that you can see into from the window on the back veranda.

Went here again recently and glad we did. The wife and I enjoyed tree top climb, very fun. Something for the whole family here and the food isn't too expensive. Also we always find a voucher for this place so never costs too much. Want to go here again in the new year and take some other family members.

Glad we went here recently. The new tree top adventure climb is fantastic. Hubby and I had fun doing the climb. Our youngest boys did not want to have a go but the eldest girls did. Good value. Highly recommend.

Great for the whole family. Wife and I loved it as did the kids. Lots of wildlife and grounds kept well and nice and fresh. Good location and not too big to walk around so our toddler didn't need pram. We went to the beach after. Good day out. Look on scoopon for GREAT deals.

Can't go wrong here. Great place for the kids. Recommend if it's a hot day, you can wander around under the cool shade of the trees in this sanctuary. Staff are friendly and helpful. Look out for online vouchers to get in cheaper else it's about $40 for adults (not sure for kids). Make sure you are organised and arrive at the shows early to get a good seat. The bird show is great and very informative.

Always a great day out... The displays and surrounds are kept fresh and up-to-date, the bird-feeding always a hit with visitors. Prices for food on-site are prohibitive, but we just bring our own.

If your in queensland you would have to visit here, or you will be missing out. Great day out for the whole family. Plenty to see and do and my highlight was all the birds landing on me.

Have been going to this place for years, don't get there as much as I would like to due to distance. I just prefer it as its not as commercial as the other Parks. There are acres of natural bush land but we always jump on the little train which takes us right to the far end of the park and we slowly work our way back. The eagle show is amazing and the kids always head to the bilbies. There are rosellas everywhere at the entrance and you can get piccys of your body full of birds. Plus you can cuddle a koala. We always get there early in time for their morning breakfast which is always a treat in a natural environment. Beautiful day out with the kids but try and get local vouchers to get in for cheap ..

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has lots of different animals to observe and interact with. You can hold a koala and have your photo taken for $20, there is also an opportunity to hold a baby crocodile and have your photo taken too. The eels were fascinating to watch and we loved hand feeding the kangaroos. It was interesting to see and learn about the animal hospital.

I would strongly recommend taking the miniature train ride through the park as the steep walking paths get very tiresome after a while! The footpaths were wide but in parts the shrubbery was a little overgrown and the garden areas not as maintained as they could be.

There were lots of different volunteers throughout the various sections of the park, who were all friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals.

The entry fee is expensive if you don't have a voucher - we had one that gave us 4 adults entry for just $80. If we didn't have that voucher it would have cost us approx $200 which I don't believe is worth it considering there are many other fauna parks and gardens with much cheaper entry charges. Additionally, the food and beverage charges were a bit over the top at $4.50 for a can of soft drink.

I love going to Currumbin. 5 minutes from the end of the motorway. It's so peaceful and relaxing just to wander round. Kangaroos are always up for a pat if they're not hungry. Our greatest thrill seems to be finding the different birds that are calling. I had a lovely day there yesterdaywith my 10 year old daughter. There's some healthy food in the cafe, too and they're no trying to push the souvenirs on you. We were lucky that we had heaps of lorikeets after all the rain

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a really good day out for the whole family and isn't ridiculously expensive. There is plenty to do from wandering around looking at all the animals and listening to keeper talks and you can sometimes pat or hold the animals to having a picnic lunch or swinging up a storm on the adventure park with rope courses, slides etc. Another really great school holiday idea is to have your kids be a ranger for a day. My three older children had an absolute ball doing this and for the $40 a day they are given a morning tea pack with fresh cooked muffins and fruit, lunch which is a fruit and sandwich box each and then afternoon tea is an ice block. The kids are put into small groups with a guide each and are taken behind the scenes within the park. The kids went out the back of the vet area to see the animals they were helping out at the moment and being introduced to the patients. They also went to see some of the locals and had a photo taken holding a croc or a snake and the photo was free if you wanted to pick it up on the way out which would normally cost around $15. All three of the kids loved it and had a ball, the guide they had was super kid friendly and as my child has an allergy every precaution was taken with her and I was just very I pressed across the board. A real treat for all animal lovers! Upon entry there were the lorrikeets coming down to feed and the kids had them all over them while holding the feed dishes, keep in mind these birds come here voluntarily as they are not caged in somehow. They also had a magic show going on to keep the kids entertained while we waited for the guide to collect the kids for keeper for a day activities. All of this was right at the door so you haven't even paid to get in yet and you are given a real treat watching these birds come and go feeding and interacting with people.

Been at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary 2 weeks ago. I went there with my whole family before 8am to grab the chance of feeding Lorikeets. Was a bit disappointed when there were only few Lorikeets showed up maybe about 10 or 15 of them. I tried asking what's going on with the birds and they explained to us that it is because of no rain for the past two months, no nectars supply for them so they go somewhere else. I still want to return there at a different time of the year to make sure there will be Lorikeets arouns next time we visit there. I just love watching and feeding the lovely birds.

We were so disappointed with this. We chose this of all the large attractions on the Gold Coast as our daughter is only 3 and loves animals. Even though we were there at the right time, the lorikeets were non-existent, they did try and make up for it though handing out animal balloons… Their excuse seemed a bit lame as my relatives had more in their backyards up there.
The park was not well laid out and the animals / enclosures were all a little dreary.
Our daughter loved the train that goes around the park, and saves tired legs as well as the playground. We enjoyed the bird show, but they are pushing the eco message too much.
The park was tidy and had a volunteer to assist at every corner you turned.
We felt it was quite expensive to get in, on top of paying for parking, and everything in between, as well as the constant requests for additional donations for various causes.
We probably would not go back, but then we are a little spoilt with our zoos in our state.

The train ride was really fun, my kids loved it. Got 3 photos of a koala and a baby croc with the whole family. Other than my kids screaming with the birds during the bird show, I enjoyed there a lot. So much animals to see and take video/photos. A great place for kids & family. It was all worth it!

Still a nice place to visit with the kids, but facilities seem to have dilapidated over the past few years. Enjoyed the bird show and kids loved the train (again). Staff were very friendly and helpful, not the case in the cafe though...

FANTASTIC! I have a yearly pass for only $98 and take my two little ones there ALL the time, sometimes just for a train ride in the afternoon. The train driver Ces is wonderful and extremely helpful with the pram!! Where else can the kids pat and feed kangaroos, have rainbow lorikeets land all over them, play in a fabulous playground and see a pelican being operated on?!? Not to mention photos with koalas/dingoes/eagles etc! Wonderful day, afternoon or couple of hours out. We take a sandwhich and just buy a coffee each time! HIGHLY recommend the year pass - amazing value for a local.
