I booked in for a trim and a fringe cut normally i would be in and out in 20 mins. I arrived on time to my 12 oclock appointment. I waited in my chair for 45min before my hairdresser came over to say she wont be long. I waiting another 15 min before she came over she was blabbing on about my hair suggested i use this product to help my hair?? Still 1hr and 15 min and still hasnt started to cut my hair. She excused herself to answer the phone and than after 1hr 25 min she started to cut my hair only to advise she will have to excuse herself shortley to wash off a ladies colour? Not only did she wash and answer the phone again serve a customer and blow out the ladies hair. There were also 2 other ladies working there who were able to stay with there clients but my hairdresser was doing it all. It actually took about 20 mins to cut but i didnt leave until 2pm and for what i got done it was $59 a total lack of customer service and they should envest in a junior to answer the phone or wash off a colour... i have been going here for 8years and the last 3 visits i have experienced very bad service this time was my last i can assure you.

Approximate cost: $60

Firstly, I had ombr hair that had been nicely done from root to tip (from a different hair salon). However, I was later paranoid with the distinction between ash brown and the high-contrast blonde (on the bottom half section of my hair), which wasn't blended seamlessly compared to the top half section (rich chocolate brown and ash brown). Considering Curtis Hair was available for immediate service, I went in for an urgent hair-blending fixation. The outcome I had in mind was that, I would walk out happy with beautifully and seamlessly blended ombr hair. Devastatingly, the staff made 2 FAILED ATTEMPTS to blend my brown and blonde hair in a seamless manner. This is because after the staff's 1st attempt, my hair looked exactly the same when I walked in. So staff asked for the management's suggestion to solve the problem more efficiently I guess. The management suggested a couple of streaks (using the colour that matches my hair root, which is rich chocolate brown) to blend ash brown and the high-contrast blonde altogether. We unanimously agreed considering that they also gave me reassurance that it would turn out BEAUTIFUL. Trusting the management and feeling reassured, we went ahead with the streaks. The streaks-idea was the 2nd attempt. After the 2nd attempt, everything turned into a TOTAL NIGHTMARE. The colour of the steaks were INCREDIBLY HARSH, especially on my high-contrast blonde hair. Even worse, the bottom half section of my hair felt very DRY and DEAD, like HAY STRAWS. I just felt like BURSTING INTO TEARS. Instead, I tried to hold my tears in because I didn't want to cause a scene due to the amount of people there. THE OUTCOME OF MY HAIR WAS SIMPLY SHOCKING AND APPALLING. Before I could burst into tears, staff quickly escorted me to the cashier to pay for the service which amounted to approximately $100 (to the best of my memory). I then walked out BURSTING INTO TEARS. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM ANY HAIR SALON, EVER. ALL IT TOOK WERE 2 ATTEMPTS TO RUIN SOMEONE'S HAIR THAT TOOK 2 YEARS TO GROW THAT LONG AND NATURAL-LOOKING FOR AN OMBRE. This is an extremely negative experience with Curtis Hair, especially from the management when I later called back for a refund, which they bluntly refused to do. They denied my so-called-allegations when I have physical proof (look at my hair!!!) and who did my hair??? -your hairdresser!! as a result of YOUR SUGGESTION!!! I'm disgusted by the fact that the hairdresser who had been doing my hair wasn't able to support my side, probably because doing so will effect their employment status with Curtis. I will NEVER EVER go back to Curtis Hair and I personally do not recommend this place unless you're the one to walk-in and take chances like I did.

Left feeling very pleased with the whole service and environment of the salon. Natalie was wonderful, delivered with what I asked for and will be returning again.
