I have been a member at Curves Croydon now for many years and have found them to be fantastic. The staff have always been very friendly and caring, and interested in my personal progress and day to day experiences. They make a special effort to know all members by name and provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for all.
They regularly check my progress and help me to set new goals. They have frequent fun activities that are always changing. Also, the owners make a special effort to hold regular fundraising for local charities.
I have worked out regularly during my pregnancy and the staff have always been very supportive and attentive to my health needs.

They made a mistake when signing me up and flagged me on the computer..demanded an extra $70 from me, I refused and demanded my money back. The owner would not refund me my money but grudgingly admitted it was their mistake and allowed me to work out for 1 month. The trainers were rude and unhelpful and each one had a different way of utilising the equipment which became quite confusing. I am very friendly and outgoing but given what went down with the owner it was obvious that the news had spread to the other trainers. An unfriendly atmosphere and very difficult to make acquaintances.There were a couple of friendly customers but all in all a very clicky environment. I ended up injurying myself and when I called and asked if I could defer my membership whilst I healed all the woman said was that I was not covered because I had not signed up for 12 months. She was totally uninterested that I had slipped a disc in my back and I never did receive a call to see if I wanted to extend my membership. I have heard nothing but good reports about the Curves gym in Kilsyth. Apparently the trainers and the clients are very friendly and supportive. I would not recommend the Curves gym in Main Street Croydon!
