I'm a long-time customer at DVA. Good work, good service, good pricing, great knowledge, excellent application. When you go there you see David, he will assess your problem and offer his opinion and the options for a fix.. If you leave your vehicle with him I have no doubt you will be thoroughly satisfied with the outcome. A great team of competent, caring, honest mechanics.

I have been a regular customer of DVA for over 20 years and I am very happy with the service. David is a problem solver and leads a team of skilled and reliable mechanics. He is so reliable that I have given him permission to fix anything that is is need of repair - without having to seek my permission first. My car is in capable hands here. Highly recommended!

They are honest mechanics that provide excellent and fast service. Always happy to do anything for me even if it to change a light bulb. They are extremely competitive priced, too.

At last!! An honest mechanic who will not rip you off. Took our old girl of 16 years (Magna) to him today to get a few issues checked over and for his opinion on whether we should say goodbye to the car, or spend a little money on it to get it up to scratch again. David could have told me it needed a new 'this' and new 'that' (when it didn't) and had me pay a small fortune. Instead he was honest and fixed the issues that needed to be fixed and nothing more. Cost just under $500 to have it running safe again. Brand new rotors, disc pads, minor service. Dropped the car off at 8am and picked it up at 1pm! Can't get better service than that! We've found our new mechanic!

II HAVE BEEN TAKING MY TOYOTA ECHO TO DAVID FOR A LONG TIME NOW, AS SAID HE IS VERY HONEST, I NEVER HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE WORK ON MY CAR. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL.

Excellent service, quality work at a reasonable price! This is one mechanic I can highly recommend. I needed extensive work done to my car and David did the work well, on time and at a reasonable price.

After an RACV mobile unit came to replace a battery, I asked for a recommendation of a local mechanic that was reliable, knowledgeable and honest. The RACV guy recommended David Vaughan so I thought I'd give him a go. Over the past 12 months I have had my two cars serviced regularly (every 5k) by David and his team and been impressed by the workmanship and customer service. Currently in the market for a 4x4 and will most certainly ask David to inspect prior to purchase! If you're in his area, do consider his services.

I had my car and my grand-daughters car serviced on the same day, and were very happy with the service and price. We now know where to go for any future work on our cars. I would certainly recommend them.

I have no problems with their service whatsoever. They have been always very professional towards me as their customer and they are a lovely staff.

There's no secret Eastside Mitsubishi has the WORST (overall) service I have ever seen!!! (not sure if I should have been that blunt...) EVERY time I've been there, I had to go back for them to finish the job. Regardless of the reason, awful experience (not to mention $$$). Stay away at all costs!!!!

'Found David's reviews here and I have to say 2 weeks after he replaced the parts (lifters), the car runs like new! No more going back to hear ... loads of cr#p.

Since this is about positive experience, I'll concentrate on David !!!
Starting with the initial diagnose (which he said may or may not be accurate- in the end it turned out to be 100%), timeliness, quality and price.... it was an excellent experience! On time and nowhere near previous quotes (Eastside's....)

I came across David Vaughn via WOMO, when I was stuck between a rock and a hard place with a nearby "reputable" franchise. My car had engine problems, it required diagnosis so we could go from there. Told it was a cracked piston (using some sort of camera) probably other problems. Weeks went by and we contacted the workshop. They refused to diagnose my car further without us putting up some money (they had said it was potentially a $4000 repair. After a verbal altercation between my partner and the owner of the franchise it was made clear I needed to remove my car. David Vaughn arranged a trade tow, diagnosed the problem (declining payment in advance) and tomorrow I pick up my car paying significantly less than the figures quoted previously. It is rare to find in this day and age a business with integrity and communication. Very very happy

Hello all,I was happy with my earlier mechanic of many years.
But some times I felt I was in the way.Recently My Gq patrol had gear box noise and some worn bushes,flexi pipe leak.
Instead of finding a good and economical way to fix.I was told to sell it,buy another 4x4,where would that get me.I the same bad area with some one else"s problem.On my budget.
To David Vaughan Auto's,David I liked in an instant as a great human being,very helpful,friendly,as his staff are.
Two of my lady friends use David Vaughan Auto',and spoke highly of their experience.This was good enough for me.
I am totally happy with the company,work done on my Patrol and the price charged was great.

One word for them 'excellent'. The service was exceptionally good and quick. My car stands there happy, fixed and shiny. I am happy with the customer service and the price i paid.

I used this mechanic after recommendations on womow. Excellent service. Every other mechanic I have been to have given me the run around, and rung telling me my car was falling apart and needed enormous amounts of money spent to fix it. None of that here- The service cost was as agreed and honest. Very happy with them and glad I went.

Great value. I feel they put alot of effort into fixing my car at the cheapest price they can offer. My family have been going to them for all 4 of our cars for nearly 20 years i have been going to them ever since i got my license (5years). I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This is a family business with old fashioned service. The cars are fixed properly and the price is the cheapest around. David is very helpful and will go that little bit further to make sure your car is in the best and safest condition
