I highly recommend this cinema! The venue is modern, beautiful, clean and the cinema is an intermit space to watch your movie. Friendly staff also is a huge bonus!

I love going to the movies and I was forced to travel here as the movie I was seeing only came to this one Cinema in Sydney.
The cinema itself is quite funky and modern however the screens are extremely small and dont make for good viewing.
The drinks and food arent amazing and are overpriced plus the parking is very limited (car park holds 20 cars and street parking here is a nightmare).
I had to queue for almost 20 minutes to get my ticket (even after I purchased online).
Overall I would recommend going to a bigger chain cinema, I generally support local but not in this case.
Approximate cost: $22
its a cinema with small screens and small spaces. I guess thats not much surprise these days. The upside is: The sound is good, the snacks are good and there are good places to eat nearby, the down points- parking is bad (if you have to drive) and unless you are a member its no cheap night out if there are a lot of you
Great opportunity for you to watch great indy filems and docos, they don't have many screening like the big cinemas in the city, so if you're going to watch something popular you better get there real early. I've missed out on so many films after close to 45 min of travelling.
I don't particularly like the service, but I could live with that. No longer cheaper than mainstream cinemas, considering mainstream cinemas offer loyalty discounts and free screening.
You can drink alcohol in the theatre, very civilised. Prices are comparable to everywhere else and they don't have that annoying pre seating allocations like they do in the big cinemas, where prepubescent kids group you all together in the middle of the theatre. Of course, they are famous for showing something else besides the main stream Hollywood rubbish, but they do show that as well if you are so inclined.
Approximate cost: $10 - $15
love going to the movies. this is a nice cinema, intimate. you can have a drink before you go inside to watch your movie, good staff.
A good cinema but unfortunately the days of going for a cheap movie & popcorn is over, tickets for two & a small popcorn & your lucky to get change from a 50 note. The good thing about Dendy newtown is you can sip a beer while watching the film. I must admit i went & saw Juno with my partner & we had to sit on the stairs as there were no seats left, a very poor error to oversell tickets
Great arthouse movies. I love this cinema. Great service. There is also a very lovely cafe at the entrance, where you can stop over after a great movie,
Become a member for the best ticket prices (a free ticket is included with membership, which is only $10-15). Not only does this cinema have a fantastic selection of Arthouse and mainstream flicks, they also have the best choc-tops in town. Rhubarb is a rare and favourite flavour for me. Or maybe wine or beer is your preference...? You can get it all here without paying extra for 'Gold Class' status. All other cinemas pale by comparison.
Approximate cost: $11.
Great art house movies, easy location for public transport, good prices -cheaper than multiplex chains, even their candy bar prices are so much more affordable
