I love this place so much. I get the
Spicy Vegetable Wonton with Dry Noodle every time, and have never been disappointed. this Din Tai Fung is particularly busy over lunch time so plan ahead

This place as a huge hype but it is probably not really worth all the hype. The service is fast, but having gone to a lot of yum cha places it seems they have really adjusted their menu and the cost is very expensive for what you are getting.

I've been hearing a lot about the dumplings at Din Tai Fung and finally got to try it. I ordered the Crab Meat and Roe with Pork Dumpling, which we found small in size, they tasted ok, but there was no wow factor. We also tried the Chicken Soup Double Boiled with Chicken Rice Wine, which was bland and disappointing. On a positive note, the best thing we tried was the Golden Lava steamed bun and Golden Lava sesame balls, which were sweet and salty.

Approximate cost: $50

Best dumplings ever! They literally melt in your mouth and are filled with tasty soup. Pork and beans are delicious also. Restaurant is very clean with fast service and efficient ordering. Staff are very accommodating and ensure that you have all that you need. This restaurant is just like the food in China.

Approximate cost: $70

Din Tai Fung is famous for its dumplings! Particularly Xiao Long Bao, a.k.a soup dumplings - little parcels filled with juicy pork and the most delicious, fragrant broth which explodes with flavour. The drunken chicken and all other dumplings are very good too. Almost always expect to wait for a table, although you can have a look over the menu and fill out a little form selecting what you want while you wait!

The food is really good especially the noodles as it looks likes it was freshly made only thing is they served the hot noodles in a plastic container which is not good for our body.

Approximate cost: $15

This definitely not a place to drop by or walk-in as you might be starving waiting. If you're planned ahead this is a great place, with great variety of Chinese food. The Xiao Long Bao and other dumplings are a must try! Downside is that they're a bit pricey.

Approximate cost: $20

Din Tai Fung is my go to place for dumplings, they make the best dumplings that I have ever eaten. I love their Xiao Long Bao and can easily devour a whole basket of them. I also like their shallot noodle and the vegetarian fried rice. The service is also fast and the restaurant gets very busy.
