Absolutely delicious! Ding Hao is the real deal when it comes to Yum Cha. The restaurant is always packed - be sure to book especially on a Sunday. Staff are usually very busy, but not busy enough to tend to you. The food is well presented and very tasty. I thoroughly enjoy the experience here every time.

Wonderful wonderful food here. Need to go with a group and share all the wonderful assortment of food. It seems to always be packed and the staff always seem run off their feet. At times it is difficult to get service for a drink and some meals take longer to come out than others so you need to eat it while its hot. Atmosphere is a bit average but the food is so good it overcomes it.

I have only been there one with my friends. It was a bit frustrated to wait such a long time. Food was ok,though.

Agree that is the best place for Yum Cha in town. It's always packed and despite the seemingly dirty and shabby dining area, the good food makes up for it. My only complain is that it's time for a renovation. When your chairs have stains on them you know it's time to get rid of them. Otherwise the food is hard to find fault with!

Best Yum Cha in town.
I am very happy with the quality of the food there.
service is very good but during busy times we have to wait.
Dumplings are very tasty and yummy.

We always come here for Yum Cha. Over time, the food quality goes up and down depending on how busy they are.

However, despite all that, I still think they have a great selection for Yum Cha compared to others and as for taste, it is a good competitor.

Approximate cost: $5.00

coming from an asian family, i can highly recommend that ding hao is one of the better restuarants i go to for yum cha. it is better to go on weekdays, but booking is best required for a large number of people going. the food is delicious, i recommend the congee- very very nice. the chicken feet is also one of the highlights when i go there.

Approximate cost: $13

Ding Hao offer a solid and competent range of yum cha. Book if you want a table or be prepared to wait. As others have pointed out the staff often forget things but hey they are not being paid a kings ransom either (typically under award rates at 5 to 8 per hour in china town) it all helps keep prices under control i guess and gives students some jobs.
